Natural gas is an efficient,high-quality clean energy source.With the gradual development of natural gas fields in China,natural gas purification has become an increasingly important position in natural gas industry in China.A natural gas purification plant in Ordos was established earlier.After continuous improvement and transformation in more than 10 years,the energy consumption of the whole plant has undergone many changes.In order to grasp the current energy consumption situation of the plant accurately and propose a technical plan for energy saving and consumption reduction,the energy of each unit through E-P,“three links” and pinch analysis method based on the current operating parameters of the plant were analyzed this paper.An optimization scheme is proposed.The main research results obtained are as follows:(1)Firstly,the energy utilization of natural gas purification unit was systematically analyzed.The results showed that the product gas quality of the purification unit does not meet the requirements of the national standard.To this end,Aspen Hysys software optimizes the operating parameters of the desulfurization and dehydration towers,so that the product gas meets the national standard requirements and achieves energy-saving purposes.Secondly,the pinch technology was used to analyze the heat exchanger network in the energy recovery section of the purification unit.The heat exchanger of the unit is reasonable without further optimization.Finally,from the energy conversion link of the purification unit,it can be seen that the MDEA circulating pump of the unit consumes consumes a large amount of electricity,and is optimized by adding a frequency converter,and the energy saving effect is obvious.(2)The energy analysis was used in the process of sulfur recovery unit,the results showed that there is energy waste in the unit.The purification unit and the sulfur recovery unit are jointly optimized by the pinch technique,and the optimization result not only improves the energy utilization rate of the unit,but also has no influence on the normal operation of other units.(3)Through steam system energy analysis,the plant has a large heat loss in steam delivery and low boiler efficiency.To this end,the heat transfer oil heating system was used to replace the steam heating for optimization.The pre-optimization investment was large,but in the long run,the energy saving effect and economic benefits are significant.
