As the new environment polices issued in succession, the emission standard of air pollutants for coal-fired power plants is becoming stricter. To meet the requirements of the new emission standard, the power plant decides to upgrade the exsiting flue gas desulphurization, denitration, and dust collecting facilities.According to the actual condition of the power plant, the various issues, including the technical feasibility, economic feasibility, were demonstrated in this study. The targeted, practical, and advanced ultra-low flue gas emission technology have been recommended. The feasibility study is based on the premises to meet the requirements of the ultra-low flue gas emissions standard, which have been fully considered the use of the existing flue gas emissions treatment facilities and the enhanced power equipment.
