For further improved atmospheric environmental quality,an increasingly stringent standard of air pollutants emission in coal-fired power plants have been formulated by the country and part of local governments.In other words,the emission concentration of NOx,smoke and SO2 shall be separately controlled within 50mg/Nm3,10mg/Nm3 and35mg/Nm3 in the reference condition of oxygen content of 6%.In the ultra-low emission transformation,the dust extraction,desulfurization and denitration technologies that are advanced and efficient will be utilized and developed,and interaction of various pollutants will be fully considered from the perspective of how exhaust emission is disposed comprehensively.And the synergistic effect of existing equipment used for pollutants treatment will be applied in the collaborative governance of smoke,SO2 and NOx.Taking the case for the ultra-low emission transformation project of the#2 unit of Shangdu Power Plant situated in Inner Mongolia,various ultra-low emission individual technologies are first analyzed in the paper.Secondly,#2 unit,as an existing unit that has just completed the capacity expansion renovation of facilities used for desulphurization and denitrification,and the way to select the ultra-low emission transformation technologies both economical and efficient are analyzed.In accordance with problems occurring in the running#2 unit and the layout of site space,the approach to the ultra-low emission retrofitting,namely to add denitrification catalyst layer+desulphurization,integration reform of dust removal+merger between induced and added draft fan+high-frequency power supply transformation+low-low-temperature economizer renovation,is eventually underwritten.In the integrated cooperative transformation scheme,some designs are added based on original desulfurization,denitration and dust-removal equipment of the#2 unit,and diversified single control technologies are combined for mutual synergy effect.The optimization design on the whole system in the transformation is synchronously proposed to make the efficient operation of the entire system for exhaust gas treatment likely under normal operating conditions.And solutions to all problems arising from the promotion process of ultra-low emission technology are innovated.The ultra-low emission transformation of the#2 unit of Shangdu Power Plant situated not merely reconciles the pollutant concentration of smoke produced from boilers to the ultra-low emission standards,but also minimizes the coal and water consumption.The annual pollutant discharge of about 2.726 million is reduced while enjoying the national subsidies of ultra-low electricity prices of 1 cents/kW for coal-fired power plants,thus demonstrating the extremely significant social benefit and economic benefit brought by the ultra-low emission modification,which is feasible.Furthermore,innovation and future prospects of the ultra-low emission technology are put in.
