As an important branch of the electrical discipline,lighting system is an important part of the electrical system of the nuclear power plant.It plays an important role in the correct operation of the personnel of the power plant,the correct start and stop of the equipment,the safe and reliable operation of the equipment,the emergency operation under the accident condition and the evacuation of the personnel.At present,the lamps and lanterns used in nuclear power plants domestic and abroad are roughly divided into six kinds,which are incandescent lamps,fluorescent lamps,high pressure sodium lamps,metal halide lamps,underwater lighting lamps and emergency lighting lamps supplied by batteries.Among them,incandescent light source has been the main force of lighting source,and has made great contributions to social progress and human development.But with the rapid development of science and technology,the characteristics of incandescent light source itself are gradually unable to meet the growing demand for lighting.LED is the abbreviation of Light Emitting Diode.It is an electronic device that can convert electric energy into light energy and has diode characteristics.For the three generation of non active nuclear power plants,in order to solve the adverse effects of the incandescent lamp on the electrical operation and personnel safety of the power station,it is an inevitable trend to replace the incandescent light source with the semiconductor lighting LED,and it is also a necessary work.At present,the exploration of the application of LED lighting to the industrial environment of the nuclear power plant is still limited.It is necessary and urgent to explore the feasibility of its use in the nuclear power plant and to explore the requirements of the domestic LED lighting which can meetthe industrial environment of the nuclear power plant.This paper first introduces the basic characteristics and basic parameters of LED and nuclear power plant's conventional lamps and compares their basic parameters.In order to determine the direction of the three generation of non active power plants,we can get the unique advantages of LED lamp in power consumption,light color,light quality,volume,environmental protection and so on.At the same time,using DIALUX software for modeling and simulation calculation,it is verified that LED lamps can replace conventional lamps to meet the lighting requirements of nuclear power plants.The key point of this paper is to analyze the key technologies of LED applied to nuclear environment,which are the aging mechanism of LED heat dissipation,LED blue light and LED in nuclear radiation environment.From the point of view of their respective technology,the idea of LED cooling performance promotion and the control scheme of LED blue light are formed,and the significant aging factors of LED to nuclear radiation environment is deduced.It lays a theoretical foundation for the comprehensive use of LED in nuclear power plants in the future.
