Textile industry is not only related to the textiles commonly used in our daily lives,but also affects high-tech industries such as aerospace,military and medical.Among them,yarn tension is one of the most important indexes.The consistency of yarn tension is not only a key factor for measuring the advancement of textile equipment,but also has a significant impact on the quality and subsequent processing of yarn finished products.Consequently,yarn tension must be accurately and stably controlled.As we know,Traditional yarn tension control units are mostly mechanical,which not only have a poor control accuracy,but also fail to control the stability of tension.Now an electromagnetic tension controller was designed,which can realize the stable control and dynamic adjustment of yarn tension,as well as the integration of yarn breakage detection and cleaning.Firstly,the research status and development trend of tension control systems at home and abroad were summarized.Through the analysis of yarn tension control system and the main factors which affect the tension and selecting the passive control model.Secondly,by using CREO software,the electromagnetic tension controller in the tension control system was designed,introduced the working principle of the main structure of tension controller,and designed the corresponding hardware control circuit to realize the functions of tension generation,self-cleaning and yarn breakage detection.According to the principle of magnetic circuit,the calculation formula of electromagnet in electromagnetic tension controller was derived.Selected the appropriate shell material preliminarily by suspension method test,established a two-dimensional model and used Maxwell software for magnetic field simulation and analysis,finally the influence of the structural parameters of the tensioner parts on the electromagnetic force which provide data support for post-production manufacturing was obtained,the comparison with the actual manufacturing electromagnetic unit suction showed that the designed structure can meet the demand of production tension.The test platform of the tension control system was designed and built to verify the function and structural feasibility of the tension controller.Since there are many factors affecting the yarn tension,this paper focused on the test of the influence of distance/winding speed on the tension.The analysis of the experimental data shows that the tension control system can operate normally and reliably,which lays a foundation for the application of the tension control system in the textile industry.Finally,the original scheme is improved by using the control scheme of the fuzzy-PID controller,and the results show that the control effect of the fuzzy-PID controller is better than that of the traditional PID controller.
