Yarn tension directly affects the quality of spinning products, and thus is increasingly important for textile makers. There are many factors, which will affect the tension of yarn, so it is difficult to build a model for the tension control, and it is a tough problem to control the yarn tension.Based on a comprehensive analysis to the tension of fancy yarn, the collectivity design scheme, the control system theory, the software implementing approach and experiment study of the embedded yarn tension control system are discussed in this thesis. By analyzing the working principle of the fancy yarn twister, the factors which make the yarn tension fluctuate, and the Fuzzy control algorithm, an innovative yarn tension control system, which resolved the difficult problem in measuring and controlling yarn tension, and could cut textile makers' production costs, is brought up by this thesis. No similar device has been found as device presented in this thesis by the author.This control system can also be applied to the yarn tension control in twister and cheese winding machine, and through experiment and analysis of the results of experiment, it is proved to be correct and the properties of the system are met, and the running results states that the Fuzzy control algorithm can fit the need of tension control well.
