The yarn tension is a key factor to decide bobbin winding density uniformity. If theyarn tension is uneven, will case produced bobbin density unevenness and case the nextprocess uneven dyeing, and will case unwinding tension fluctuation is too large.Domestic tension control system in winder mostly is mechanical, caused wear much tothe yarn, and tension fluctuation relatively large, seriously hampered the development ofthe domestic winder.This dissertation describes the status of research and development at home andabroad as well as the source of the subject and the significance of the study. By theanalysis of the generation and the role and the composition of the yarn tension in processof winding, the fluctuations factors affect yarn tension, a yarn tension closed-loop controlsystem based on DSP is proposed.By planning the overall design of the yarn tension control systems, the system isdivided into four parts using modular design concept. To detect the yarn tension inreal-time selecting a resistance strain gauge tension sensor in data acquisition module,and analysis of the measuring mechanism and signal conditioning circuitry. Thedissertations introduce new implementing agencies in the tension adjustment andexecution module, and design a simple and reliable tension adjustment device. Bychanging the speed of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), to adjust thespeed of feed roller, and then adjust the linear velocity of the yarn to complete control ofthe yarn tension. To facilitate the manual operation, the systems set and display the valueof the yarn tension in a touch screen.Use MATLAB software SIMULINK module to simulate the permanent magnetsynchronous motor, to verify the feasibility of the motor-control part of the tensioncontrol system. The tension controller use fuzzy PI control strategy to control the yarntension. Then the dissertations design the hardware and software of the control system,analyzed the main circuit, inverter drive circuit, position detection circuit, the tension sensor interface circuit, protection circuit and man-machine interface circuit, andelaborated the function of each module. Tension control system software design focuseson the main program of control system, the timer interrupt service routine and MODBUScommunication.The end of the dissertations describes the experimental platform of the yarn tensioncontrol system. The experimental results show that the system can be good control of theyarn tension.
