1,4-butanediol and n-butanol are important organic solvents and raw materials in the process of chemical and pharmaceutical production.Due to the aging of catalyst in the production of 1,4-butanediol,the flow rate of by-product butanol is increased,and lots of BDO production processes have the problem that the original butanol recovery unit can not meet the recovery of butanol.Therefore,the butanol recovery process is improved in the process of 1,4-butanediol synthesis by acetylene aldehyde method.The process is regarded as the research object to design and retrofit.The whole butanol recovery process is simulated and analyzed by PRO/II software.A new four-tower recovery process of butanol concentrator was proposed to recover butanol waste liquor,and the simulation calculation was completed.Combining with the actual production process,the equipment construction and feed position of each distillation column in the whole distillation process were optimized.The recovery rate of butanol reached 90%,and the product concentration of butanol reached 99.5%.Finally,the treatment process of butanol wastewater is discussed,and the economic benefit of the whole butanol recovery process is evaluated.Through the improvement of the scheme of the butanol recovery unit,the economic efficiency can be increased by about 8.1868 million yuan every year,which greatly improves the economic benefit of the whole process.
