As same as gear grinding,gear honing also is used in the final machining process of hard gear surface gear as a common machining process of hard tooth surface gear.Compared with the grinding process,after honing processing,the gear drive is less noisy,gear has better wearable performance,but the precision of gear is lower.There is principle error in the gear honing with the milled helicoids worm shaped honing wheels,when use worm shaped honing wheel dressed by straight diamond roller instead of involute worm shaped honing wheel to hone gear,so it is necessary to analyze the principle error of the machining model in precision gear manufactured.There is principle error in the gear honing with the milled helicoids worm shaped honing wheels,when use approximate machining model.This dissertation researched this and its influence factor,the main contents of this research include:(1)The modeling and simulation of gear honing and the error of gear tooth surface Modeled the process of honing wheel dressing and gear honing,on the basic of these mathematical modelings,complete the 3-D simulation model of the tooth surface of roller?worm and gear,compare to the model of gear honed with the standard model to get error of the model and mapped the error distribution of gear tooth surface.(2)The influence of parameter changing on the error of gear tooth surfaceAccording to actual parameter worm and gear,did an analysis on the influence factor of this machining model: different helix angles of worm?different number of threads worm grinding?different pressure angles of worm grinding and different tip clearance coefficient gears,Proved the feasibleness of this approximate machining model in theory,and provided the recommended values of every influence factor.(3)Experiment researchProved the feasibleness of this approximate machining model with experimental validation,first,did the gear machining with YW7232 CNC grinding machine tool of CHMIT,then measuring the gears with 3906 gear measuring center of LINKS.According to the gear topography,proved the feasibleness of this approximate machining model.
