Urban water supply is an important infrastructure of urban construction,and the construction of water supply network is an important part of urban water supply system construction.In the process of urban development,ductile iron pipes have become the main pipes in the construction of water supply network because of their excellent corrosion resistance,good ductility and easy installation.Water-cooled centrifugal casting machine is one of the main equipment in the production of ball-milled cast iron pipes.In recent years,its mechanical structure has gradually matured,which makes the water-cooled centrifugal casting machine become the international production DN1200 below the pipe diameter casting machine commonly used.With the acceleration of urbanization process,the market demand for ductile iron pipes is increasing.Increasing production efficiency and the qualified rate of products has become the biggest demand of pipe casting enterprises.The main engine running and fan bag turnover are the main factors restricting the production of the water-cooled centrifugal casting machine.At present,most of the water-cooled centrifugal casting machines at home and abroad adopt open-loop control for the above two links.The running speed of the equipment is slow,the repetition precision is low,and the vibration of the equipment is great.In addition,there are problems in the production process of the equipment,such as complex operation and high loss rate.Therefore,a set of electric control system is needed to improve the running speed of equipment,increase production efficiency,improve product quality and reduce labor intensity.Aiming at the existing problems of water-cooled centrifugal casting machine,based on Siemens S7-400 series PLC programmable logic controller and Siemens SIMOTION C240 motion controller,the closed-loop control system of water-cooled centrifugal casting machine is designed according to the production process requirements of water-cooled centrifugal casting machine.The main work of this paper includes the selection of system hardware,the design of PLC program,the design of SIMOTION motion controller program,the design of man-machine interface,and finally completed the operation test of the system.Through the application of SIMOTION motion controller in this system,the closed-loop control of the main engine running and the fan-shaped package overturning is realized,and the fan-shaped package and the hot metal detection sensor of the main engine socket are added to the equipment to realize the automatic production of the water-cooled centrifugal casting machine.This paper also improves the control program of the water system of the equipment,and prolongs the service life of the pipe die.Practice proves that the control system can reduce the error of the upstream stop position of the main engine to 2.45‰,repetitive position accuracy 27 mm,and reduce the operation difficulty of the equipment,thus greatly improving the production efficiency and stability of the water-cooled centrifugal casting machine.
