Burden distribution has significant influence on the gas flow distribution in the blast furnace,hence it becomes an important furnace production adjustment method in modern iron making.In the process of burden distribution,manual decisions rely on the operators'professional knowledge and production experience,and it is difficult to obtain stable furnace production and improve fuel efficiency by adjusting the burden distribution.In order to meet the urgent needs of energy saving and emission reduction of high energy consumption industry,and further ensure the production stability and improve the fuel utilization rate,it is necessary to study the furnace top charging behaviors in the blast furnace with bell-less top,establish the mathematical model of burden distribution,realize of intelligent prediction of blast furnace production,and finally promote the blast furnace production to the best state by adjusting the furnace top charging control.Based on the analysis of furnace top charging system and technology,the process of burden flow and the burden heap formation behaviors were investigated.The model of burden falling trajectory in the furnace and the burden surface prediction was established,and then verified by the blast furnace whose effective volume was around 2580m~3.The blast furnace production has characteristics of multi-noise,large time delay and high non-linearity,wavelet analysis was used to remove the noise of the blast furnace production data,and the delay registration of main parameters affecting furnace production was calculated by grey correlation analysis.A mathematical model of blast furnace production intelligent forecasting was established based on radial basis function neural network,and the multi-step time sequence prediction of permeability index and gas utilization rate was realized.The comprehensive evaluation index was constructed by the four-step predictive results of furnace permeability index and gas utilization rate,the radial ratio of ore to coke was selected as the parameter of furnace production adjustment,and the control strategy of ratio of ore to coke was made based on the development of furnace production.The burden distribution error was selected as the optimization objective,an optimization model for the ring charging control was established,which was solved by the artificial fish swarm optimization algorithm.Finally,the furnace production was simulated in the blast furnace with bell-less top off-line,the results show that the blast furnace can be effectively controlled by the optimal operations of burden distribution,which promotes the smooth operation and increases the gas utilization rate,the blast furnace production is improved to achieve a double win of ecology and economy.
