Rotary kiln is the core equipment of the cement enterprise.Kiln is mainly composed of shell,support roller,tyre and so on.Its operating conditions affect the economic benefits of the company.Tyre have two main functions when kiln is running normally,the first is force transmission,it transfers the graviry of shell and materials to the support rollers;the second is to strengthen the shell.If tyre dynamic gap is too large,the ovality of the shell around tyre will become large,and causing the kiln lining bricks to loosen.In addition,if the tyre dynamic gap is too small,it will cause the shell to “neck down”.Both of them can cause the bricks to loosen and even fall off.Therefore,controlling the tyre thermal gap within a reasonable range is critical to ensure the normal operation of the kiln.In order to control the gap of the rotary kiln tyre,the monitoring system of the rotary kiln tyre gap was designed in this paper.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1)The research status of tyre gap monitoring and remote monitoring at home and abroad was analyzed.It is learned that the existing monitoring of the tyre gap was insufficient and the monitoring accuracy was not high.Therefore,in order to detect problems early and communicate with experts in time when problems is found,it is necessary to study high-precision and online real-time remote tyre gap monitoring system to achieve reasonable control of the tyre gap.(2)The influence of the tyre gap on the operation of the rotary kiln was analyzed.Firstly,the relationship between tyre gap and ovality was analyzed by field measurement data.It was found through data analysis that there is a positive correlation relationship between tyre gap and ovality,the ovality increases or decreases with the increase or decrease of the tyre gap;Secondly,the force analysis of the tyre and the shell was established.Through analysis,it can be known that the increase of the tyre gap causes the contact force to concentrate,resulting in increased force on some contact portions.(3)In this paper,separately designed the monitoring system of rotary kiln gap with hardware and software.The main hardware design included the selection of sensors,the design of position of sesors and insulation protection device,the selection of acquisition card and the connection of sensors and acquisition Cable and junction box selection;software design included access to the database to store data,remote data transmission,historical data query,real-time display and alarm reminders and other functional design.(4)This paper simulated the remote transmission and capability of the tyre gap monitoring system.Firstly,the remote data transmission was verified by the same LANs and different LANs respectively.The same LAN and different LANs can all realize the remote data transmission.Then using MCU to simulate the four-cycle signal to verify the function of the rotary kiln tyre gap monitoring system,it is concluded that the tyre gap monitoring system designed can realize the basic functions.Finally,the error of the tyre gap monitoring system was analyzed.
