With the coming of the industrial 4.0 era and the strategic plan of China Manufacturing 2025,the manufacturing industry of our country faces severe challenges and opportunities of rapid development at the same time.Digital and intelligent manufacturing has become the dominant trend of the manufacturing industry in the future,which puts forward higher requirements for the manufacturing industry of our country.As a special machining technology,Wire Electrical Discharge Machining(WEDM)technology is widely used in military,aerospace industry,automobile,die,semiconductor and other high-precision parts industry,which plays an significant role in manufacturing.Corner machining technology is of significance in WEDM.The accuracy at corner is always one of the key factors to measure the capability of the machining equipment.Many scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of researches on corner trajectory control strategy and energy control strategy,and most of them focused on rough machining stage in the optimization of process parameters.However,there is little research on the parameters optimization in the multiple-cutting process to improve the corner machining accuracy.Based on this background,the parameters optimization in the multiple-cutting process ofWEDM were studied in this paper.A mathematical model of delayed bending of wire electrode during machining process was established.Through the orthogonal experiment of four factors with four levels,the process parameters of corner error in rough machining stage were studied.For the finishing stage,the uniform experiment of seven factors with three levels was designed,and the cutting parameters of the corner error and cutting efficiency of the corner parts were studied.The effects of each influencing factor on the experiment results were obtained for the single process response.However,single process response is usually unable to meet the demand of actual production and processing.Corner error and cutting efficiency are a pair of contradictory technological responses.Multi-objective parameters optimization of corner error and cutting efficiency were carried out by means of desirability function method,and comprehensive optimal parameters combination was obtained.The predicting model of multi-objective parameter optimization were established by using fuzzy logic control algorithm,and the predicted values of each experiment number were obtained by fuzzy logic reasoning block diagram.The error between the predicted value and the actual experiment value is relatively small.Through the diagram of the influence trend of each factor on the experiment response,the combination of "1rough cut with 2 trim cuts",small amount of compensation(15?m)and large wire tension(19N)were adopted to ensure the machining accuracy of the sharp angle.The processing efficiency of blunt angle was guaranteed by increasing the discharge energy parameters such as largedischarge power(40times),large current(4A)and large pulse on time(25?s).
