With the development of China's civil aviation industry, the number and volumn of airlines has increased heavily.Fatigue of pilots has become one of the important factors threatening aviation safety.Because of the characteristics of multi-transmeridian flight,multi-transmeridian pilots are more affected by jet lag and circadian rhythms, resulting in different characteristics and influential factors of fatigue.Deeply analysis the fatigue characteristics of pilots during multi-transmeridian flight, and proposes some risk management,in order to refine the fatigue risk management and improving management efficiency of multi-transmeridian pilots.First, reviewed the literature on the fatigue about multi-transmeridian flight, and combines the results of on-site interviews with pilots,to systematically summarize the fatigue factors of multi-transmeridian pilots. The MFI-16 scale was used to measure the pilot's fatigue;the PSQI scale was used to evaluate the sleep status;the BFI-16 scale was used to evaluate the personality characteristics;the GHQ-12 scale was used to evaluate the mental health status;work factors questionnaire to access the work factors of pilots, and personal basic information scale to evaluate the basic information of personnel.105 non-transmeridian pilots and 23 multi-transmeridian pilots have filled out the questionnaire.Next, difference analysis and path analysis have been used to analyze the data, and then compired the fatigue characteristics of multi-transmeridian pilots with non-transmeridian pilots to get the characteristics of types, weights and action paths of the fatigue among multi-transmeridian pilots. The following main conclusions are drawn: multi-transmeridian pilots have more severe fatigue and worse sleep quality, whose fatigue factors are mainly concentrated in work factors, and the circadian rhythm has a greater impact on fatigue statues.Third, aim to the red-eye flight of multi-transmeridian pilots during cruise phase, the hypothesis of increasing the color temperature of the cockpit LED ceiling light to maintain the alertness of the personnel is proposed.Five people with similar rhythm types were selected to participate in the experiment, and the color temperature of LED lights was setted differently in lab environment while the alertness of subjects were measured in real time. The following conclusions are drawn: under the high(cold)color temperature LED lighting, the sleepiness and fatigue of the subjects are low;after being irradiated by a high color temperature LED light source, the alertness of the subjects is reduced to a lesser extent, that is,the high color temperature LED light source is helpful for the alertness of personnel. Finally, based on the results of fatigue characteristics analysis among multi-transmeridian pilots, fatigue risk management measures such as sleep management, mental health education, and jet lag relief have been proposed comprehensively to help airlines effectively manage pilot fatigue risk.
