Research On The Quality Of Construction Projects For SH Group Aromatic Refining

In recent years as the number of new petrochemical projects has increased rapidly and investment to every single petrochemical project has been continuously expanded,requirements for quality control of projects have also been raised.Therefore,this study on the quality control of project of aromatic hydrocarbon purification in SH Group can provide some significant reference and guidance for other practices in quality management of projects.The thesis focuses on the project of aromatic hydrocarbon purification in SH Group and discusses its quality control problems.It is a project with a huge investment,a long term and various risk factors.In the early stage of construction,a project department was set up which was in charge of the planning,management and schedule control of this project as well as the implementation of control measures for personnel management,construction process and techniques of construction.Based on the relevant theories,the method of Principal Component Analysis was adopted to analyze the quality problems during the project construction in the thesis.The analysis found that the following problems existed in the early period of construction: the weak awareness of safety of builders,unregulated quality inspection records of materials,low usage of equipment and unreasonable arrangement of construction site and environment.Then the main reasons are given,including inadequate field management,poor implementation of the regulations of the material quality,unstable equipment and disadvantaged construction environment.Finally,the thesis provides measures in order to enhance the quality of the project: the education level and construction technology of managers and subcontractors should be enhanced at first;site records should also be taken under proper regulations in order to improve the quality control of construction materials;provide the regular maintenance of the equipment to reduce the rate of failure and repair;and arrange the construction site dynamically to ensure reasonable and efficient distribution of the site.Through the study on the project of aromatic hydrocarbon purification in SH Group,the thesis analyzes the relevant theories of quality control of projects,and provides reference for the quality control practice of SH's project,and is helpful for the completion of the project to high standards.
