| Since the reform and opening up,Shaanxi as the important province in Western China has made continuous breakthroughs.But the extensive economic development model has also brought many adverse effects to the water environment for a long time,Problems such as abuse of water resources and serious pollution of water environment emerge in endlessly,which slowly restrict the economic development in the opposite direction.Therefore,the Shaanxi Provincial Government has fully implemented the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan and the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Work Programme issued by the State Council,made all sorts of management measures according to oneself provincial condition,making unremitting efforts to improve the water environment quality of the whole province.As the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt,the study of the coupling and harmonious development relationship between water environment and economy in Shaanxi is of great significance for promoting the economic development strategy of "one belt and one road".Based on the data of economic and water environment in Shaanxi Province from 2004 to 2017,combined with relevant theories such as statistics and econometrics,this paper first describes the overall situation of Shaanxi Province from two aspects of economic development and water environment evolution,and then makes Pearson correlation analysis and environmental Kuznets curve analysis.Then,the coupling and coordinating analysis model of water environment-economy complex system in Shaanxi Province is established,and the comprehensive development level index,coupling degree and coupling and coordinating degree of the area are calculated by principal component analysis.Finally,combining the grey prediction model GM(1,1)and the exponential smoothing method,the coupling coordination degree between water environment and economy in Shaanxi Province from 2018 to 2020 is predicted and analyzed.The results shows that(1)The correlation between industrial wastewater discharge and output value of three industries is the strongest,followed by ammonia nitrogen discharge,and finally COD discharge.The three indicators are mainly affected by the changes of secondary and tertiary industries.(2)In EKC curve fitting,the relationship between per capita water consumption and per capita gross domestic product(GDP)is similar as "N" respectively.Therelationship between industrial wastewater discharge and ammonia nitrogen discharge,which characterize water pollution,and per capita gross domestic product(GDP)is "N" and"U" respectively.(3)In the analysis of coupling and coordination of water environment-economy complex system,the degree of coupling and coordination has steadily increased year by year,and the current development trend is relatively ideal,but since 2006,it has been basically a lagging coupling state of water environment.(4)The results of prediction model calculation show that the coordinated development between water environment and economy in Shaanxi Province will decline to a certain extent in the next three years.Finally,on the basis of the empirical research results,the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward for the coordinated development of water environment and economy in Shaanxi Province in the future.That is to say,the harmonious development of water environment and economy in Shaanxi Province should be promoted by improving the relevant laws and policies of water environment protection,improving the ability of water environment governance,choosing the appropriate industrial development mode to regulate the industrial structure,and seeking the green growth point of economy according to its own advantages. |
