Urban land is the basis and guarantee of urban development and an important driving force of social and economic development. With the acceleration of the process of social urbanization and the rapid development of various industries,China's urban land use appears extensive, ecological environment deterioration and many other negative situation, leading to sharp contradiction between human and land, hindering the sustainable development of the city.In the face of these difficulties and challenges,China's 13 th five-year plan puts forward the concept of green development, promoting low-carbon recycling, green ecology and environmental friendliness is an important way to achieve green development.Land is a scarce and precious urban resource, and the integration of low-carbon development into the evaluation of land use is in line with the long-term development needs of cities. It is of great significance to improve the efficiency of land use, rationally control the scale of urban development and promote the benign development of economy. The research content of this paper is as follows: on the basis of combing domestic and foreign literature research, the concepts of low-carbon land use, intensive land use and coupling coordination are defined and analyzed. The energy carbon emissions of Wuhan city circle from 2007 to 2016 were calculated by IPCC,and the changes of energy carbon emissions of each city within the research time series were analyzed. Then, the low-carbon and intensive land use levels of cities in Wuhan urban circle were evaluated to analyze the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics between 2007 and 2016.According to the comprehensive evaluation results of low carbon and intensive land use,the coupling coordination degree model is used to calculate the coupling coordination degree of low carbon and intensive land use. Finally, the Tobit regression model was used to calculate the influencing factors of coupling and coordination, and the optimal path to promote the coordinated and healthy development of low-carbon and intensive land use in Wuhan urban circle was proposed from the perspectives of optimizing land use policies, exploring low-carbon land use modes, guiding the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure and promoting intensive land use.Article the main conclusions include:(1)land use carbon emissions of Wuhan city circle is on the increase year by year,in nine cities, the carbon emissions of Wuhan city is the highest,up from 18.6888 million tons in 2007 to 2016 tonnes in 25.8888 million, the average annual growth of more than 10%,accounted for 34%,far more than other cities of carbon emissions, carbon emissions is about 2-3 times that of other cities.Secondly,Huangshi city and Xiaogan city account for 57% of the carbon emissions in the whole Wuhan urban circle. The cities with low carbon emissions are Xiantao,Tianmen and Qianjiang.(2)the low-carbon land use level of 9 cities in Wuhan urban circle shows a trend of increasing year by year, and the overall change law is "M" type. From the perspective of the overall spatial distribution of land low-carbon use,the level of land low-carbon use in the southeast is obviously higher than that in the northwest.Among them,Xianning has the highest level of land low-carbon utilization, followed by Wuhan,Ezhou,Huanggang and xiaogan, which belong to the second echelon.Huangshi and Xiantao have a low level of low-carbon land use, which may be closely related to their industrial development.Tianmen and Qianjiang have the lowest level of low-carbon land use,and in the later development process, attention should be paid to strengthen their low-carbon development.(3)the land intensive use level of each city in Wuhan urban circle has been on the rise during the study period. The value of land intensive use of Wuhan in Wuhan urban circle is "one of the largest",far more than that of other cities. Its intensive use index rose from 0.1505 in 2007 to 0.7469 in 2016.The level of intensive land use in Qianjiang and Xiantao is in the second echelon, the level of intensive land use in Ezhou and Tianmen is in the third level, and the land area in Ezhou and Tianmen is small.Overall, for the level of land intensive use,the northwest of the urban circle is relatively higher than the southeast.(4)the coupling coordination degree of low-carbon and intensive utilization of land in Wuhan urban circle has been continuously improved in the research time series, and only some areas have declined in some years. In 2013,the coordination degree of Wuhan exceeded 0.5 and reached a state of highly coordinated development. In the following years,Wuhan has been in a state of highly coordinated development and its coordination degree has exceeded that of other 8 cities. While other cities such as Tianmen and Qianjiang are still in a low degree of coordination,Xiantao,Huangshi,Xiaogan,Ezhou and Tianmen are in a moderate state of coordinated development. From the perspective of overall spatial distribution characteristics, the southeast area of Wuhan urban circle is generally higher than the northwest area.(5)Land use structure optimization, free flow of production factors, regional policy coordination and industrial development level have a certain impact on the coupling and coordinated development degree of low-carbon and intensive land use in wuhan urban circle. In order to optimize the degree of coordinated development,Suggestions are put forward to optimize the land use policy, explore low-carbon development mode, guide the change of industrial structure and promote the intensive use of land.
