As the third-generation thin slab continuous casting and rolling technology,the ESP endless rolling production line can stably produce extremely thin strip steel and can realize the production of some varieties “replace cold with hot”.Compared with the traditional thin slab continuous casting and rolling production line,the advantages are obvious.However,the ESP endless rolling line,which has been improved through the ISP endless rolling line,lacks the processing of the intermediate billet by the hot coil box,so that the product performance of the product will be slightly lower than that of the ISP endless rolling line;Due to the production needs,the induction heating equipment between the coarse and the fine rolling needs to continuously heat the intermediate billet,and the energy consumption accounts for about 50% of the energy consumption of the production.Therefore,through the research on the temperature variation law of the strip during the production process of ESP endless rolling production line,the improvement method of the process and production line to improve the product quality and optimize the production energy consumption is proposed.It has certain significance for the production and upgrading of ESP endless rolling production line.First,the heat transfer during hot rolling was analyzed and modeled.The deformation heat and friction heat during the roughing and finishing process and the contact temperature drop model of the rolling process were determined.Thermal radiation and water cooling models in non-rolling zones.The temperature calculation of the strip was deduced.Secondly,the rolling temperature field simulation was carried out on the rough rolling and finishing rolling processes of the ESP endless rolling line.In the rolling simulation,the boundary conditions of the 1580 hot rolling line were taken as a reference,and the temperature changes of the ESP endless rolling line during the rough rolling and finishing rolling process and the variation of the rolling force of each pass were obtained.Through the comparison of different sets of different finishing temperature simulations,the temperature of the finishing part of the ESP endless rolling line and the variation of rolling force are obtained.Provide data support for process improvement.Thirdly,the optimization of the rolling process for the ESP production line is mainly divided into three parts.In the rough rolling part of the ESP production line,the method of differential temperature rolling is adopted.The embodiment is to add a rapid cooling device at the inlet for controlling the temperature difference of the core surface of the continuous casting blank,so that the surface of the continuous casting blank forms a cold shell,and during rolling,The heart is preferentially deformed to achieve the purpose of improving the uniformity of the intermediate blank;in the middle section,the traditional heat preservation cover is replaced with an induction heating device,and after the rough rolling,the intermediate blank has a temperature difference of the heart surface,and the heating is lowered.Heating energy consumption;before finishing rolling,the finishing temperature of the finishing rolling is reduced within the allowable range of the rolling mill capacity.On the one hand,the heating energy consumption in the middle section can be reduced,and on the other hand,the quality of the final product can be improved.Finally,the ESP endless rolling line finishing line and the entire production line were improved.The implementation method is to demonstrate the feasibility of the 4-stand finishing rolling,and obtain the temperature of the strip and the change of the rolling force during the finishing of the 4-stand.Then,by introducing the online roll changing technology of the ESP endless rolling line finishing line,combined with the differential temperature rolling process of the rough rolling section,and for the ESP endless rolling line,3-stand roughing and 4-stand finishing and 3-stand roughing and 5-stand finishing are used to improve the production line of two different rolling mill layouts.The production positioning and advantages and disadvantages of the two different rolling mill layouts were analyzed and summarized.
