Carbon Emission Reduction Analysis Of Steel Industry In Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region Under The Background Of Carbon Tax

The annual production capacity of steel in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region accounts for about one-third of the country's total.It is the region with the largest steel production in northern China.It is also an economic region with a focus on China's development and has good development prospects.Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are the largest comprehensive industrial areas in the north.The steel produced annually by the steel industry has already contributed a lot to the economy of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,driving the rapid development of the region.According to the latest statistics from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,the annual carbon emissions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region have exceeded 700 million tons in 2017.Among them,the steel industry accounts for more than 50%.Due to excessive steel production in the region,the region is facing industrial energy savings and excessive carbon dioxide emissions.Therefore,it is extremely urgent to conduct emission reduction research on the carbon emissions of the steel industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.This paper studies the carbon emission reduction of the steel industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region with the carbon tax as the background.Three representative steel companies from three regions are selected as research objects.The unified carbon tax and differential carbon tax are used as the starting point to establish two The stage game model analyzes and contrasts the implementation of a unified carbon tax and a differential carbon tax in the region.In the first stage of the game,the company as a whole,the government to develop the corresponding carbon tax,tax the enterprises in the region,implement a unified tax payment principle,and analyze the output and benefits of the enterprise.The second stage of the game is to let steel companies and steel companies compete in production.The company analyzes its own steel output and the carbon tax that needs to be paid,and chooses production in a way that suits the best economic interests of your business.Combined with the results of the analysis,some suggestions on carbon tax and technical emission reductions are proposed for the future development of the steel industry in the region.Studies have shown that by analyzing the unified carbon tax and differential carbon tax for steel companies in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,the results show that the use of differential carbon taxes in the region will lead to better development of the local steel industry,differential carbon tax.It can better promote the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,reduce carbon emissions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,lift the overall smog conditions in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,and promote sustainable economic and environmental development.It also reflects the principle of fairness.Adopting production technology with lower production costs,higher energy conservation levels and levying a certain amount of carbon tax can promote carbon dioxide emission reduction in the region.
