Fiber Reinforced Plastic(FRP)equipment are extensively applied in the aviation,military and other fields.FRP filament winding machine is a critical equipment that products FRP equipment.The FRP filament winding machine control system is a system for controlling the working state of the FRP filament winding machine.It mainly controls the FRP filament winding machine to complete the winding of the FRP products of different specifications.At present,the control system of FRP filament winding machine adopts the control scheme of “board motion controller + industrial computer”.This control scheme has many problems such as poor reliability,low stability,unfriendly human-machine interface and low synchronization control precision.The four-axis FRP filament winding machine is one of the most widely used type of machine.It adds the function of controlling the rotary motion of the wire nozzle on the basis of the two-axis and three-axis FRP filament winding machine.And it can realize the winding of various FRP products.And it has the advantages of ensuring accurate placement of the fiber bundle on the core mold.It can improve the automation degree and quality of FRP equipment,and shorten the production cycle of FRP products.And the production efficiency is improved,and reducing labor intensity with lower production costs.In order to solve the problems of poor reliability,low stability and low synchronization control,a four-axis FRP filament winding machine control system is designed and developed.In this paper,the requirements of control system of the four-axis FRP filament winding machine are divide into functional requirements and non-function requirements based on the analysis of specifications.In terms of functional requirements,this paper designs according to the system requirements,project management,system alarm,processing control,system status display,system zero return and other functional requirements.In terms of nonfunctional requirements,this paper proposes the indicators that the system needs to measure for the sake of winding accuracy according to the working space of the four-axis FRP filament winding machine control system and related industry standards.This paper adopts the control scheme of “Advantech IPC + MC1004 Motion Controller”.Advantech IPC and MC1004 motion controller use RS232 serial port for communication.The PC software is developed on Qt platform,which mainly implements functions such as human-computer interaction and motion trajectory generation.The lower computer program is written in ST language,mainly to complete the processing of the motion track points and motion instructions transmitted by the host computer.The lower position machine adopts the electronic cam control mode to control the synchronous movement of the trolley,the extension arm and the wire nozzle following the main shaft to realize the winding of the four-axis FRP filament winding machine.Finally,the trajectory simulation and winding experiments of the system are carried out.The experimental results show that the control system of the four-axis FRP filament winding machine based on electronic cam control has good reliability,high precision of synchronous motion control and realizes the winding of FRP products of common revolving core molds.
