Composite material is a new type material, which is composed two or more kinds of different properties materials in a proper way. Compared with tradition metal material, it has many prominent merits and fine performances. Resin composite production is manufactured by solidifying with the resin and doffing the mold after winding through fibrament winding machine. It applies chiefly in fields of national defense and aviation & space, and common industry fields of construction and energy sources and so on.Fiber winding technology is an integrated technology, including composite material, macromolecule chemistry, mathematics, mechanics, electronics and computer, etc. FWM researched in this thesis is the primary equipment that manufactures fiber production, and the controller is core in control system of this equipment. During fiber winding, the performance of controller decides directly the stability of system, precision of winding and efficiency of manufacture, etc. By analyzing the locomotion character of FWM and combining with the newest winding technology and the request of process technics, the means of AC servo system driving the movement of dentiform strap controlled by computer is advocated in this dissertation, which can realize screw winding and annular winding. At the same time, the configuration principle of computer control, the whole design of control system and the distributed computer system comprising epigynous computer and hypogynous computer are discussed in this dissertation. The epigynous computer provides the human machine interface, system monitor and enactment of technical parameters, etc. And the hypogynous computer is used to control servo system that drives the executive components to realize the prescriptive movement. The communication between them adopts the RS-232C protocol.The control method of fiber winding and tension control are important parts in computer control. Based on technics and rule of winding, the tension control system of FWM is researched in this dissertation. The tension control system using permanent-magnet DC torque motor as executive component is design. It can inspect and adjust tension at real-time during winding. Under the premise of meeting designprecision, integral separated PID tension controller is designed, which restrains effectively PID controller integral accumulation to arouse the system oscillation. By debugging on the spot, PID parameters are defined. Finally, the control effect of position controller and tension controller is simulated and analyzed by using control system toolbox in MATLAB and simulation modules in Simulink. Experience and simulation data indicate that position and tension controller improve evidently the performance of control system.The software of this FWM computer control system is programmed using Visual Basic language, and the interface of computer and user is very friendly and expansibility is very strong. The running results indicate that the controllers work steadily and reliably, meets completely the demands for both design function and winding precision.
