In the rural area of China,lower efficient household stoves and solid fuel commonly were used for heating and cooking,which could lead to high emission and affect air quality because of low combustion efficiency.Thus,it is significant to energy conservation and emission reduction,as well as improving air quality that exactly measurement and evaluation pollutant emissions from household stoves burming solid fuel.There are some problem that current field measurement system for testing emission from domestic stoves,such as lack of portability and low reliable results.Therefore one portable field measurement system was designed to in this study,which based on dilution method.The system includes flue gas capturing,dilution air and sampling and measurement for flue gas.The field system designed can provide 1-15 times dilution ratio in this study,as well as realize measurement for the whole combustion process and diurnal emissions of household stoves when lower smoke temperature and pollutants concentrations can be archived through air dilution system.It could not only reduce the damage of measurement equipments,but also stimulate the process of dilution and cooling when smoke exectly enter ionto the atmosphere.Stimultaneously,the system is suitable to field test because of smaller size and easily carrying.The system performance evaluation illustrate that little gas leakiness and more than 14s residence time for particulate matter condensation and nucleation,in addition to,it was found that the stable flowrate(RSD?5%)and well performance sensors in this system.As well as good consistent results for PM2.5 parallel sampling were demonstrated in the performance evaluation experiments(RD?±3%).The constrast experiments were conducted in the laboratory,and it was found that there was no significant difference for the results of between QHC and other samping instruments,such as MH 3200,Testo 350 and DustTrak 8530.In addition to,there was higher correlation among the results for three measurement equipments,and the Pearson correlation coefficient approximately was 0.9.Stimultaneously,the relative standard deviation was no more than 5%for emission factors from three measurement equipments,as well as the emission factors were consistent with the previous study.Thus,it was demonstrated that the measurement results of QHC with good adaptability could be accurate and creadibe.The field testing found that new heating stove could improve combustion efficiency relative to traditiable stove,but the fuel consumption was also significantly increased.The emission factors of PM2.5,CO and NOx for new stove were lower than traditional stove,the total emission amount of PM2.5,CO,CO2,SO2 and NOxfor new stove were increased 78%,26%,96%,117%and 75%,respectively.Therefore,the new heating stove can not reduce emission in this study country.It was illustrated that field measurement results were precious and reliable through QHC field sampling system,as well as appeared good adaptability for different stoves and fuels.Stimultaneously,there are some problem appearing in the field testing and need to be solved in the future.
