Research On The Impact Of Cross-border M&A On Green Innovation Of Environmental Protection Enterprises

With the rapid development of economy and the increasing emphasis on the environment,self-reliance can not meet the development requirements of environmental protection enterprises in the new situation.Innovation investment has become an essential investment for environmental protection enterprises,and innovation,especially green innovation,has become the primary policy for the development of environmental protection enterprises.In recent years,under the external conditions of national environmental policy and the "Belt and Road" initiative,environmental protection enterprises set off a wave of green innovation through cross-border mergers and acquisitions.But behind the upsurge of M & A,its actual economic effect is thought-provoking.Whether cross-border M & A can improve the green innovation ability of environmental protection enterprises,how to improve the green innovation ability of environmental protection enterprises through cross-border M & A,and how its specific mechanism still need further study.Based on the analysis of the related concepts and research status of cross-border M & A and green innovation,this paper uses case study method to verify the impact of cross-border M & A on its green innovation ability.Combined with the relevant information of case enterprises,using the grounded theory research method,on the basis of case analysis,the mechanism of cross-border M & A affecting the green innovation of environmental protection enterprises is deeply explored,and the impact path of cross-border M & A on the green innovation of environmental protection enterprises is summarized.Through the research,it is found that cross-border M & A can promote the green innovation ability of case enterprises,which is embodied in improving the green innovation input and output of M & A enterprises.Further analysis shows that in the early decision-making stage of cross-border M & A,enterprises' self-awareness,target selection and knowledge matching are three screening forces,which are helpful for M & A enterprises to select the right companies.In the integrated learning stage after M & A,the technology introduction and research learning of M & A Enterprises determine the success of technology transfer.In the improved innovation stage after integration,the production,learning and research system and innovation investment as well as technology improvement to improve the innovation and creativity of enterprises.This paper takes green innovation of environmental protection enterprises as the research object,which provides a new perspective for the research of green innovation related topics.In the study of green innovation process of environmental protection enterprises,the dynamic process of cross-border M & A is used to study its interaction with green innovation.It is helpful to clarify the path of green innovation of environmental protection enterprises in the process of cross-border M & A from a dynamic perspective,and to some extent improve the research on the impact of cross-border M & A on Green Innovation of enterprises.
