Based On Reinforced Conductive Bamboo Charcoal/Polypropylene Composite Performance Study

Bamboo charcoal is a porous biochar material,which has a certain electrical conductivity,and can be used in antistatic and shielding.This article uses bamboo charcoal as the main raw material and polypropylene as the matrix to prepare BC/PP composites by melt blending and injection molding.Digital insulation resistance meters,four-probe resistance meters,electromagnetic shielding meters,universal testing machines,and scanning electron microscopes are used.Differential scanning calorimeter and other instruments,explore bamboo charcoal content,bamboo charcoal particle size,the addition of carbon fiber,multi-walled carbon nanotubes,multilayer graphene three conductive agents and the addition of carbon fiber/multi-walled carbon nanotubes,multi-layered graphene/multi-walled carbon nanotubes,there are four aspects to analyze the volume resistivity,electromagnetic shielding performance,mechanical properties,and thermal properties of BC/PP composites.The main results are as follows:(1)The effect of bamboo charcoal on the performance of BC/PP composites.The study found that the addition of bamboo charcoal can significantly reduce the volume resistivity of the composite material,especially when the amount of bamboo charcoal added is greater than 30%,the volume resistivity decline is particularly obvious.When the content is 60%,the volume resistivity reaches a minimum of 1,928×108 ? cm.The electromagnetic shielding performance is in the frequency range of 30 to 1000 MHz,which has also been enhanced with the increase of bamboo charcoal content,but the effect is not very obvious.In terms of mechanical properties,the addition of a small amount of bamboo charcoal can also improve the performance of composite materials,with the boundary point of 10%,and then the mechanical properties gradually decline with the increase of content.In addition,the introduction of bamboo charcoal can also improve the thermal properties of composite materials.The more bamboo charcoal content,the better the thermal effect.According to the analysis of the above test data,the added amount of bamboo charcoal is 50%,and the BC/PP composite material not only meets the needs of use,but also has excellent electrical conductivity.(2)Study on the effect of the particle size of bamboo charcoal(60-200 mesh)on the properties of BC/PP composites.It was found that different particle sizes have certain effects on the volume resistivity,electromagnetic shielding properties,and mechanical properties of BC/PP composites.It was found that when the particle size was 200 mesh,the volume resistivity,electromagnetic shielding effectiveness,mechanical properties,and thermal properties of the BC/PP composites reached the best.(3)Study on the effects of adding ao-CF,p-f-MWCNTs,and s-MLG on the properties of BC/PP composites.It was found that all three conductive agents have good dispersion after treatment,and the volume resistivity of the composite can be greatly reduced by adding to BC/PP.The volume resistivity of pf-MWCNTs/BC/PP composites is the same as that of the conductive agent.The content is the smallest,the conductivity is the best,and the corresponding results are obtained for the electromagnetic shielding performance.The addition of the conductive agent improves the static and dynamic mechanical properties of the three composite materials to a certain extent,and the performance of the ao-CF/BC/PP composite materials is more excellent.For thermal properties,the performance of s-MLG/BC/PP composites is the best among the three composites.However,after comprehensive analysis,when the content of p-f-MWCNTs is 3%,p-f-MWCNTs/BC/PP composites not only have excellent electrical conductivity,but also meet the requirements of mechanical properties.(4)Adding ao-CF/p-f-MWCNTs and s-MLG/p-f-MWCNTs to the performance of BC/PP composites.It was found that the addition of the two conductive agents can still reduce the volume resistivity of the composite material.The volume resistivity of the s-MLG/pf-MWCNTs/BC/PP composite material is far lower than the ao-CF/Resistivity of pf-MWCNTs/BC/PP composites.In terms of electromagnetic shielding performance,the shielding effect of ao-CF/p-f-MWCNTs/BC/PP composites is also relatively good.In terms of static mechanics,the strengths of ao-CF/pf-MWCNTs/BC/PP composites and s-MLG/pf-MWCNTs/BC/PP composites are not significantly different.The introduction of a small amount of ao-CF and s-MLG can be Improve the mechanical properties of two composite materials.For dynamic mechanical properties and thermal properties,the addition of composite conductive agents can not only improve the rigidity and hardness of composite materials,but also enhance the thermal properties of composite materials.
