With the continuous upgrading of industrialization and accelerated urbanization and consumption structure,China's energy demand continues to grow,the resources guarantee ability of domestic and environmental capacity constraints,global energy security and climate change under the influence of increasing resource and environmental constraints.The state is energetically promoting the application of various advanced and practical energy saving technologies.Along them,hydraulic coupling transmission and speed regulation technology is one of the energy-saving technologies which are recommended by the eight ministries and commissions of the state.Therefore,the reliability of the variable speed hydrodynamic coupling during operation is very important.This paper studies the reliability of a YOTGC450B type motor driven hydraulic coupler for a coal gas blower in a coking plant.Base on the two reliability analysis methods,i.e.failure mode,effect and criticality analysis and Petri net model,combined with the equipment fault data,variable speed hydrodynamic coupling and its subsystems have been analyzed.The possible failure modes and their impact on the system is identified.The relatively serious fault model and consequences of the important parts for the coupler system are taken out as soon as possible in order to improve the system reliability.The main failure modes of this type of hydraulic coupler are the increase of amplitude,oil leak and excessive temperature.On the basis of the failure mode,effect and criticality analysis,for the serious consequences of the failure mode,qualitative and quantitative analysis are carried out through the construction and analysis of fault tree.And failure probability of the top event is calculated.The weak points of the system are also found out,and corresponding solutions are given.Then,the system can meet the stipulation of reliability index and operate with a high high reliability degree.This word can also provide technical support for high reliable operation of hydraulic coupler.
