In recent years,with the continuous development of domestic land,desert and offshore oil fields,the exploration and development technology of oil and gas fields has also been continuously improved.This puts higher requirements on the supporting equipment on the rig site:oil rig equipment should also be more automated,intelligent and networked.Due to the non-linear factors or the load changes within a wide range,the traditional control system of diesel generating sets may not be able to respond effectively in time.Therefore,the traditional control needs to be further improved in order to ensure that the system has better dynamic and static performance.Out of consideration for the stability,reliability and economy of the drilling rig power system,this topic applies a new control method in the field of drilling rig diesel generator control.The new control method has simple,high precision and good robustness.The advantages are extremely important for maintaining the stability of the speed of the diesel engine and the voltage of the synchronous generator and ensuring the normal and stable operation of the power system and its load.This paper first analyzes the control principles of the diesel engine speed control system and generator excitation system,establishes the mathematical model of each part of the diesel generator,and uses the fuzzy PID control method to design the controller.Speed control system model,excitation system model and comprehensive control model are established under MATLAB/Simulink simulation software environment.According to the normal drilling and lifting conditions of the drilling rig,the system is subjected to sudden load increase and decrease load simulation tests.The test results show that in the field of rig diesel generator control,the fuzzy PID control effect is significantly better than the traditional PID control:in terms of speed regulation performance,the adjustment speed is fast and the fluctuation peak is small;in terms of excitation performance,the adjustment time of the terminal voltage is greatly shorten.In this paper,based on the research of diesel generator single-machine operation,considering the mutual coupling relationship between the speed control system and the excitation system,a mathematical model of two units in parallel is established to simulate the parallel process of two units.The simulation results show that the diesel generators are connected in parallel by fuzzy PID control method to achieve effective distribution of load power,which has broad application prospects and popularization value in the field of oil rigs.
