Zinc oxide,as a vulcanization active additive for rubber,occupies an important position in the rubber industry because of its excellent activity properties.However,during the use process,we found that traditional zinc oxide with a larger particle size has a lower activity due to its small specific surface area.It is used in a large amount,and at the same time,zinc is an environmental pollutant close to heavy metals and has a certain carcinogenic effect,especially soluble zinc compounds have toxic and side effects on aquatic organisms.To meet the needs of green development,it is necessary to reduce the amount of zinc used in rubber products.This project is based on the results of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the results of industry-university-research cooperation projects such as Jiaxing Beihua Polymer Auxiliary Co.,Ltd.and Hongyu Short Fiber New Materials Co.,Ltd.,and analyzes and explores common zinc oxide active products(Indirect method zinc oxide,nano zinc oxide,nano active zinc oxide,organic zinc),trying to find a method that can effectively reduce the zinc content,and proposed a modified pretreatment technology of rubber low zinc active additives.In this subject,nano-active zinc oxide and organic zinc salts that adsorb nano-sized zinc oxide with a micro-scale carrier were used as a framework to adsorb and reform the organic zinc of nano-sized zinc oxide.The surface polarity was improved by modifiers such as PETS.Then,the surface of LIR low-molecular resin is used for preliminary infiltration and isolation,so that the surface is coated with a layer of lipophilic resin,thereby achieving the effect of surface physical modification,and at the same time,it can significantly improve its affinity and dispersibility with rubber.To improve the agglomeration phenomenon;in order to achieve the effect of permanent isolation of the powder active agent,a rubber carrier with a large molecular chain was used to permanently isolate it and a low-zinc active agent masterbatch was prepared.The different types of carrier rubber and the amount of masterbatch were discussed.The effect of dispersibility,processability and other properties of the rubber resulted in the preparation of nano-active zinc oxide masterbatch and organic zinc masterbatch with high dispersibility and activity,and the application test of the masterbatch was found.As a result,it could be significantly reduced.The zinc content can be reduced by about 36%and 50%,respectively.In addition,in this subject,a silane coupling agent was used to modify the surface of nano zinc oxide and the effect of process parameters on the modification effect was investigated.Finally,toluene was used as the solvent,ammonia water was used as the pH adjuster,and the amount of KH550 and KH590 was 20%.The surface modification effect of nano zinc oxide is better.Graft density and other tests were performed on the modified nano zinc oxide,and a pre-dispersed nano zinc oxide masterbatch was prepared by natural rubber latex by means of latex flocculation.The results show that It is more uniformly dispersed in natural rubber and significantly improves the agglomeration of nanoparticles.Application experiments show that it can reduce the zinc content by about 50%while ensuring the performance of the vulcanizate.
