In recent years,it has been found that anaerobic ammonium oxidizing bacteria have entered the field of vision because of their advantages of efficient removal of ammonia nitrogen, low sludge yield, and low resource consumption. However, the slow growth of anammox bacteria and the demanding requirements for water ingress also greatly limit the further development of the process. In order to study the effect of anaerobic ammonium oxidation on ammonia nitrogen wastewater and solve the problem of lack of nitrous oxide(NO2--N)to meet the requirements of anaerobic ammonium oxidation substrate and slow growth of strains. This experiment used a method of inhibition-recovery activity to rapidly and stably started the partial nitritation process.By combining the anaerobic ammonium oxidation unit with the membrane bioreactor(MBR)to formed the ANAMMBR process, the enrichment rate of anammox bacteria was greatly improved. Then the two devices were linked to set up the SHARON-ANAMMBR process to achieve the purpose of efficiently removing ammonia nitrogen from the wastewater.During the start-up and operation process, the short-cut nitrification initiation and influencing factors, the anaerobic ammonium oxidation start-up and the influence of the two devices on the anaerobic ammonium oxidation unit were studied according to the process sequence.First, the activity of nitrifying bacteria in the device was first inhibited by controlling the concentration of the inorganic carbon source HCO3-required for the growth of the ammoxidizing bacteria(AOB)and the nitrate bacteria(NOB)in the aerobic device.By using AOB more suitable for low-carbon source and low-dissolved oxygen environment than NOB,NOB will be eliminated a lot.Subsequently, the concentration of the inorganic carbon source was increased, the AOB activity was restored, and the load was increased to cause it to rapidly start the partial nitritation apparatus, and the apparatus was relatively stable. Then the operation characteristics of the partial nitritation device were studied, and the optimization of the operation mode of the process was explored. The anaerobic device effluent was connected to the MBR to trap the bacteria in the reactor,50 that the anaerobic ammonium oxidizing bacteria which were originally proliferated in the device can avoid the loss of the number of bacteria caused by the effluent.By operating the ANAMMBR process consisting of MBR,anaerobic ammonium oxidation activity was observed and enriched on the 14th day of anaerobic operation. Finally, the partial nitritation unit was connected with the nitrogen concentration of the anaerobic ammonium oxidation unit in and out of the water, and the SHARON-ANAMMBR process was built. The process had a fast starting speed and can remove ammonia nitrogen in wastewater efficiently, economically and stably.
