Kadsura coccinea is a rare wild plant with great potential for development.Its fruit is a kind of edible,ornamental,and medicinal fruit.In order to enrich the chemical constituents of the K.coccinea and to find out the components with medicinal value and bioactivities,the paper provides the theoretical basis and scientific guidance for the utilization of K.coccinea resources and the development of related products.In this experiment,some chemical constituents in petroleum ether fraction from the stem of K.coccinea were extracted,separated,and identified.The antibacterial activities of the extracts and the inhibit acetylcholinesterase and α-glucosidase of the compounds were carried out.In this paper,23 compounds were isolated and purified from the stems of Kadsura coccinea petroleum ether extracts with a variety of column chromatography and spectral analysis techniques combined with the physicochemical properties.Their structures were indentified by physical,ehemical properties and spectral data as kadcoccin A(1),cycloartenone(2),24-methyl-8-lanoten-3-one(3),(22Z,24E)-3-oxoprotosta-2712,22,24-trien-26-oic acid(4),cubenol(5),(+)-T-cadinol(6),(+)-(1S,4R)-7-hydroxycalamenene(7),guaia-1(5),7(8),9(10)-triene(8),alismol(9),guai-3-en-10a-ol(10)5 alloaromadendrane-4β,10α-diol(11),caryophyllene oxide(12),arisantetralone B(13),kadsuralignan C(14),neglectalignans D(15),binankadsurin A(16),wilsonilignan B(17),yunnankadsurin B(18),guayacasin(19),2△2,4-undecanoic acid glycerol ester(20),2△2,4-tetradecanoic acid glyceride(21),ethyl dodecanoate(22),and glycerol propyl ester(23).Among them,compound 1 were new triterpenoid compound,compounds 3 and 19 were new natural products,and compounds 4,5,7,8,9,10,11 and 12 were isolated from the genus for the first time.The antimicrobial activities against Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli and Candidaalbicans of compounds 2、3、6-9、11-15、17、19 and 21 were evaluated by paper disco diffusion method.The strongest inhibitory isolate was compound 18,and the diameter of inhibition circle was 10.26±0.11mm.At the same time,compound 13 also showed inhibitory activity against Escherichia coli with diameter of the inhibition circle 7.83±0.13mm.All the compounds had no antimicrobial activity against Candida albicans.The inhibitory activity of acetylcholinesterase(AChE)and α-glucosidase of compounds 1、4、5、7、8、10、13、14、16、18、20 and 22 were determined by Ellman’s method and PNPG method,respectively.The results showed that compounds 14,16 and 20 had a weak inhibitory activity of acetylcholinesterase;compounds 1,4 and 7 had moderate inhibitory activity,and the inhibitory rates were 32.77±0.3%,25.75±0.4%and 32.72±0.3%,respectively.Compound 1 has inhibitory activity on α-glucosidase,and the inhibition rate is 46.69%±0.6%5 which is close to acarbose in positive control group.
