Abstract/Summary:
The structured textured surface has the function of reducing the frictional resistance.Improving the tribological properties of the part.Therefore,the efficient manufacture of drag reduction structured surface has become a research hotspot for domestic and foreign researchers.Superfinishing is usually the final processing of the product.The processed texture will remain directly on the machined surface.Therefore,the tribological properties of the product will be directly affected by the parameters of the superfinishing process.In the traditional superfinishing processing,most of the abrasives are arranged in random,which is not artificially controlled.resulting in a decrease in the number of effective abrasives involved in the superfinishing processing.The machined surface will be nonuniform.In view of the above problems,this paper used the orderly arrangement of abrasives to arrange the outer circle of the cylindrical sinusoidal oscillation,explored the mechanism of the outer circular structured textured surface,established the corresponding theory,solved the key technical problems and reduced the tribological resistance of the parts.And this paper provided a new theory and method for the manufacture of structured surfaces.The paper established the harmonic kinematics equations of orderly arrangement of oilstone abrasives in order of phyllotactic,array and staggered pattern,explained the conditions for achieving uniform texture.And obtain the formation mechanism of structured textured surface by compared the simulation of 3-dimensional morphology.The oilstones of abrasives ordered arrangement were designed and prepared,including the screening of abrasives,the preparation of ordered arrangement mask,and the plating of oilstone.The plating process of the oilstone was introduced.The problems and solutions that might occur during electroplating were analyzed particularly.Finally,the simulation results are confirmed by the superfinishing experiment.The changing laws of the height of the ridges at the intersect of the texture and the Abbott-firestone curve are analyzed.The results show that the sinusoidal oscillation of the oilstone can process the uniform structured surface.The greater the radial force of the oilstone can cause the deeper texture,the smaller the support area of the machined surface and the higher bulge.The uplift is about half of the depth of texture.when the texture is intersected,the uplift of the second texture will block the first one.In the phyllotactic pattern,when the ratio of the amplitude to the phyllotactic coefficient is 1.4821,the plateaus area of the machined surface will approximately equal,and the texture will uniform.The change of the ratio of the oilstone frequency to the workpiece rotation speed will cause the wavelength to change.When the ratio is less than 14(the wavelength is less than the length of the oilstone arc),the texture will no longer uniform.
