Turpentine is a kind of natural and renewable precious resource,which is abundant in the world.There are a lot of ?-pinene in it.In the presence of catalyst,the cis-pinane obtained by hydrogenation of ?-pinene is a very important synthesis intermediate,which has been widely used in terpenoid perfume,medicine,pesticide and other chemical fields.In view of the harsh reaction conditions and the risk of flammability and explosion in the hydrogenation process of ?-pinene,this paper uses safe and mild NaBH4 as the hydrogen donor and cheap and easily available nickel based catalyst as the catalyst precursor to prepare cis-pinane with high selectivity under room temperature by adding stabilizer or solid support.A mild,safe and highly industrial application has been established A new way to produce cis-pinane from prospective ?-pinene.The specific research contents are as follows:Using PEG(polyethylene glycol)as stabilizer and NaBH4 as hydrogen donor,Ni nanoparticle catalyst was prepared in ethanol medium for the reduction of ?-pinene to cis-pinane.Under mild reaction conditions,the reduction effect of the in-situ preparedNi nanoparticles catalyst is excellent.The conversion of ?-pinene is 97%,and the selectivity of cis-pinane is 98%.Ni nanoparticle catalyst was prepared in methanol medium with sipan-80 as stabilizer and NaBH4 as hydrogen donor for the reduction of ?-pinene to cis-pinane.At room temperature,the conversion of a-pinene was 98%and the selectivity of cis-pinane was 99%.The in-situ Ni nanoparticle catalyst can be recycled at least 5 times,and the conversion rate is slightly reduced in the process of recycling,but it is kept at about 93%,and the cis-selectivity is still 98%.The synthesis of cis-pinane from ?-pinene by reduction of ?-pinene with NaBH4 as hydrogen donor in ethanol medium using Raney Ni as catalyst was studied.Under the optimum reaction conditions,the conversion of ?-pinene was 99%,the selectivity of cis-pinane was 98%,and the catalytic effect was excellent.Raney Ni catalyst can be recycled at least 10 times,and the conversion of ?-pinene and the selectivity of cis-pinane are about 98%,which is better than that of Ni nanoparticle catalyst in the presence of stabilizer.
