Linalool is an important kind of perfumes. It is widely used in many industrial fields including the perfume and perfume compounds industry and the medicine industry, etc.Pinane and pinane hydroperoxide are two important intermediates in the process of the synthesis of linalool from pinene, they themselves are also important materials to synthesize perfumes. In the thesis, pinane is obtained from pinene by catalytic hydrogenating, and then pinane hydroperoxide from pinane by catalytic oxidizing. Ideal catalysts are selected. Main factors influencing the selectivity of cis-pinane and the content of pinane hydroperoxide are investigated. Optimum conditions are decided. High selectivity of cis-pinane 98.89%is reached under optimum catalytic hydrogenating conditions temperature 65 , time 3.5 hours and hydrogen pressure 10.0 MPa. Simultaneously high content of superoxidate is reached under optimum conditions temperature 95, time 9 hours, air fluence 4OLIh, amount of catalyst 5%o. All of these provide reliable basis for the production of pinane and pinane hydroperoxide, and further the synthesis of linalool.
