With the continuous development of the modern textile industry,knitted fabrics are widely used in the market today because of their softness and good comfort.They have developed from the original knitted underwear and knitted socks to today's knitted sweaters,knitted cotton clothes and other clothing products.The application area of knitted products has been greatly expanded.Compared with woven fabrics,knitted fabrics are made of coils in series.The floating lines on the surface are longer,and the problem of hair feathers exposing to the surface of the fabric is more prominent,the fabric is prone to pilling.Polyester-cotton blended knitted fabrics have the advantages of both polyester and cotton fibers,and the product is cost-effective.However,due to the large differences in the initial modulus,strength and elasticity of the two types of polyester-cotton fibers,the polyester-cotton blended knitted fabrics tend to fuzz during wearing Pilling seriously affects the internal quality and external aesthetics of the garment,which not only affects the personal image of the consumer,but also affects the credibility of the business and the efficiency of the businessAiming at the problem of serious fluffing and pilling of polyester-cotton blended knitted fabrics,this project selected the polyester-cotton blended yarns of Ningbo Senyu International Trade Co.,Ltd.as raw materials.Weaving knitted fabrics with knitting circular knitting machines and computer flat knitting machines,respectively,test the basic properties such as hairiness,sliver and strength of the yarn according to relevant standards,were tested using a Martindale abrasion tester for the anti-pilling performance of knitted fabricsFirst,the change process of fluffing and pilling of knitted fabrics was observed using a Zeiss microscope,which can be divided into four stages of fluffing,entanglement,balling and shedding.The plane shape,plane size and composition of the fluff balls embossed by the fabric under different frictional revolutions were measured with a Best magnifying glass.It was found that the plane shape of the fluff balls was an ellipse with different lengths and diameters.The plane size of the fluff balls increased with the number of frictions.Increase first and then decrease.Wool ball contains two components of polyester and cotton.The content of polyester fiber is relatively high,and the content of cotton fiber is relatively low.The polyester fiber plays a role of consolidation in the wool ball,and the influencing factors and improvement methods of the pile and pilling of the fabric are summarized.Secondly,using a circular knitting machine,using the same spinning method and different blended polyester-cotton blending yarns to weave a polyester-cotton knitted fabric with a three-threaded padding structure,test the basic properties of the blended yarn such as hairiness,sliver and strength.The anti-pilling performance of polyester-cotton knitted fabrics was studied.The effect of yarn blending ratio on the fluff and pilling of blended yarns and blended knitted fabrics was studied.It was found that as the polyester content in the blended yarn decreased,the hairiness and sliver properties of the yarn gradually increased,and the breaking strength and elongation at break gradually decreased;the anti-pilling performance of the polyester-cotton blended knitted fabric decreased with the polyester content.And the improvement,using the Borda comprehensive evaluation method to judge the fabric,shows that cotton knitted fabrics have the best anti-pilling performance.The level of anti-pilling of cotton knitted fabrics is 0.75?1.0 higher than that of polyester-cotton blended ratio of 80/20,and 0.5?0.75 higher than that of polyester-cotton blended ratio of 65/35,which is higher than polyester-cotton.The blended fabric with a blending ratio of 40/60 is 0.25 to 0.75 grade higher than the blended fabric with a polyester-cotton blended ratio of 20/80 and is 0.25 grade higher.Thirdly,the effects of different spinning methods on the yarn performance of the same blending ratio and the anti-pilling performance of the three-thread-added padding knitted fabric were explored.It was found that the hairiness and evenness of the tight-spun yarn were the best,and the breaking strength and elongation were high.Sai Luofang polyester-cotton blended knitted fabric had the best anti-pilling performance,and the anti-pilling grade was 3.25 grade,0.25 grade higher than tight-spun knitted fabric,0.75 grade higher than ring-spun knitted fabric.The same yarn material is used to design and weave five kinds of three-thread-added padding polyester-cotton blended knitted fabrics.The veils,ground yarns,and padding yarns have different yarn length configurations.The Martindale abrasion tester is used to test its anti-pilling.Performance,analyze the influence of fabric yarn length configuration on the anti-pilling performance of knitted fabrics.It was found that the knitted fabric with three-line yarn-added padding structure is affected by the yarn length configuration of its veil,ground yarn,and padding yarn.The shorter the yarn length of the veil,the shorter the loop length on the fabric surface,and the better the anti-pilling performance.Finally,using a computerized flat knitting machine,weaving polyester and cotton blended knitting fabrics with 4 different organizational structures,such as weft flat needles,four flats,false four flats,and loops,using the same yarn as the raw material,and exploring the fabric structure of the polyester and cotton blended knitted fabric The influence of fluffing and pilling performance;the control variable method was used to weave false Siping knitted fabrics under different parameters,and the effect of weaving parameters on the anti-pilling performance of polyester-cotton blended knitted fabrics was explored.It was found that among the four kinds of knitted fabrics,weft knitted fabrics had the best anti-pilling performance,followed by fake Siping fabrics,loop fabrics again,and Siping fabrics were the worst.Under the same tissue condition,with the increase of the degree parameter,the anti-pilling performance of the knitted fabric decreases.In summary,this paper mainly studies the effects of five factors including yarn blending ratio,spinning method,fabric yarn length configuration,fabric organization structure and knitting degree parameters on the anti-pilling performance of polyester-cotton blended knitted fabrics.Cotton yarn blending ratio,spinning method,veil yarn length,organization structure and degree parameters of knitted fabrics can all improve the anti-pilling performance of polyester-cotton blended knitted fabrics to varying degrees.
