Polyamide(PA)fiber,as an important variety of synthetic fibers,has excellent resilience,strength,abrasion resistance and good chemical stability.It is widely used in clothing,home textiles and other fields.At present,the conventional method for preparing colored polyamide fabrics mainly adopts the dyeing method.The dyeing process will produce a lot of waste water,high energy consumption and low color fastness of products.Compared with that,adding pigment in the form of color masterbatch in the spinning process by adopting a dope dyed method has the advantages of low energy consumption,low pollution,high color fastness,etc.However,the processing temperature of polyamide fiber is high,and the dope dyed method puts forward higher requirements on the dispersion and temperature resistance of the colorant.In addition,the terminal activity of the amide group makes it easy to produce discoloration,and there are few related systematic studies.In view of the current situation,this topic uses polyamide 6 which is widely used in polyamide as the matrix,and successfully prepared the polyamide masterbatches,color swatches and red fibers by the dope dyed method.The effects of the type and amount of pigments and different surface treatment agents on the color performance,mechanical properties and spinnability of the polyamide system were systematically studied.In this paper,the effects of three organic pigments with different structures:perylene pigments,azo pigments,and diketopyrrolo-pyrrole(DPP)pigments on the properties of the polyamide masterbatches,color swatches,and red fibers in the dope dyed solution were first studied.Using infrared analyzer,scanning electron microscope,colorimeter,sound velocity orientation,universal tensile testing machine and other characterization methods to systematically evaluate the relationship between the color performance and mechanical properties of the pigment and polyamide system.The results show that compared with PA/azo pigment system and PA/DPP pigment system,perylene pigment has less aggregate in polyamide masterbatches,good coloring performance,basically unchanged breaking strength and high spinnability.On this basis,the properties of the dope dyed polyamide masterbatches,color swatches and red fibers prepared by three different particle sizes and surface-treated perylene pigments were discussed in depth.The study found that the perylene pigment ? in the three pigments is evenly dispersed in the polyamide matrix,with the highest coloring power of 103.14,high spinnability,smooth fiber surface,and little effect on the processing performance of the system.When the draw ratio is 3.3,the breaking strength of the PA/perylene pigment ? fiber is basically unchanged,and the breaking elongation is increased by 5.52%relative to the pure polyamide fiber.Taking the perylene pigment ? as the research object,the effects of different pigment concentrations on the color,crystallization and mechanical properties of polyamide resin were further studied by color measuring instrument,XRD,DSC,etc.The studies show that when the pigment content is 0.4wt%,the color performance tends to be stable,and the perylene pigment ? can act as a nucleating agent to induce the increase of polyamide ?-type crystals and increase the crystallinity.At this time,the mechanical properties of the polyamide color swatches are the best and the tensile strength increased by 6.94MPa,tensile strain increased by 6.59%.Finally,on the basis of the foregoing,the effects of three different types of dispersants:non-polar,polar and superdispersants on the properties of polyamide masterbatches,swatches and red fibers are discussed.The results show that the non-polar dispersant A does not significantly improve the dispersion properties of the pigment.When adding 3wt%of polar dispersant B,the dispersion performance of the pigment is better and the coloring power of the swatch is higher.Compared with the fiber without the dispersant,the breaking strength of the fiber is relatively increased by 2.1%.When adding lwt%of superdispersant C,the pigment has the best dispersion performance,the highest coloring power is 108.8,the fiber surface is smooth,the orientation factor is increased to 0.59,and the breaking strength is relatively increased by 3.95%compared with the fiber without the dispersant.
