Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon's Sustainable Evaluation Development Of Tourism Based On Touristic Ecological Footprint

The 19th NPC national congress pointed out:in order to hold the harmonious between humanbeings and nature,we must accept the idea that liquid waters and luxuriantly green mountains are our real fortune.”With strongly promoting regional economic development,tourism inevitably has negative impacts on the local environment.How to realize the regional sustainable development has become an important goal of all kinds of scenic area,The accurate evaluation of the current situation of the sustainable development of scenic spots is the basis of formulating the development goals of scenic spots scientifically.Since the opening of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon in 2011,the number of tourists has increased sharply,from 510,000 in 2011 to3.6 million in 2019,with an average annual growth rate of 38.50%,which has caused great pressure on environment.Take Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon as the research object,this paper using tourism ecological footprint method,taking tourism eating,accommodation,traffic,sightseeing,purchase and entertainment of six elements as touristic ecological footprint model,for seven consecutive years from 2013 to 2019,calculated the scenic tourism ecological footprint,ecological carrying capacity of dynamic calculation and analysis,evaluated the scenic area sustainable development status,corresponding Suggestions are put forward according to the situation of scenic spot.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)During the research period,Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon has been in the state of tourism ecological deficit and shows a trend of increasing year by year.The average annual ecological deficit number is-5888.00hm~2,with an average annual growth rate of105.39%.The total amount of tourism ecological footprint in the scenic spot has increased year by year,with an average annual ecological footprint of 13773.41hm~2,an average annual growth of 1572.86hm~2,or 15.48%in the past seven years.A large increase in the number of tourists is one of the reasons for the increase in the total amount of ecological footprint year by year.The ecological carrying capacity of the scenic spot is basically stable,with an average annual ecological carrying capacity of7883.98hm~2.(2)Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon tourism transportation and tourism are the most important part of the process of tourism activities.Tourism transportation and tourism accounted for 68.18%of the total ecological footprint.(3)In the process of tourism development,the rapid growth of tourism population is the main driving factor for the increase of tourism ecological deficit.The correlation coefficient between tourism population and tourism ecological deficit is 0.9949.(4)It is the key to reduce the occupation of tourism ecological footprint and realize the sustainable development of tourism destination to advocate green travel and reasonably choose the means of transportation and travel.At the same time,we should make full use of the existing natural conditions,focus on natural scenery,and build a green tourism base.In addition,the overall planning of the scenic spot is carried out to separate the catering and accommodation of tourists,so as to reduce the consumption of fossil energy in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon.
