Dynamic Analysis Of Tourism Ecological Footprint Of Chongqing City

Based on the theory of ecological footprint, this paper build the tourism ecological footprint model. By calculating the tourism catering footprint, tourism accommodation footprint, tourism traffic footprint, tourism sightseeing footprint, tourism shopping footprint and leisure tourism footprint, this paper have made a quantitative analysis on the ecological footprint of tourism in Chongqing city in 2008-2014 and the change rule of ecological footprint in Chongqing Tourism. Moreover, by combining the tourism ecological carrying capacity, this paper reveal the tourism ecological surplus / deficit situation in Chongqing City. On account of the calculation results, we can judge the sustainable development of the tourism industry in Chongqing City and put forward some suggestions and measures.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The total tourism ecological footprint of Chongqing increased from2206615.61hm2 in 2008 to 8033231.21hm2 in 2014. Among them, the largest growth rate is tourism catering footprint. In the composition of tourism ecological footprint,tourism catering and traffic ecological footprint has a larger proportion. Over the years,the per capita tourism ecological footprint showed an undulating trend of rising that increased from 218.93×10-4hm2 in 2008 to 230.08×10-4hm2 in 2014. During the period,the value of 2011 is the largest, which is 270.83×10-4hm2.(2)In the proportion of ecological productive land, the largest proportion is fossil energy land, accounting for 74%. The following proportion are the farmland,wood-grassland, waters and construction land. Analyzing the above results, the tourism industry needs to control the energy consumption in the tourism industry.(3)In the research period, the tourism ecological carrying capacity of Chongqing city is increasing year by year, while the per capita tourism ecological carrying capacity is decreasing. In the tourism ecological carrying capacity of the sever land,the proportion of wood-grassland accounted for the largest, reaching 57%, followed by arable land, construction land and water. Analysis of different land ecological surplus or deficit situation, after 2009, the waters are in a state of ecological deficit. In addition,other types of land are in the state of ecological surplus. What we need to pay attention to is that the ecological surplus of the farmland and construction land has been shrinking in recent years.(4)In 2008-2011, Chongqing city shows the state of tourism ecological surplus.After that, the situation is reflected in the tourism ecological deficit. From 2011 to2014, the tourism ecological deficit increased year by year. After 2011, the per capita tourism ecological surplus or deficit is in the ecological deficit. In 2011-2012, the per capita tourism ecological deficit increased rapidly, while the growth rate slowed down in the following two years. The results show that the development of tourism industry in Chongqing is in an unsustainable state of consuming unduly ecological resources.(5)In order to ensure the sustainable development of the tourism industry in Chongqing, we need to carry out the ecological tourism and green tourism commodities and advocate green consumption; Secondly, to realize the coordinated development of ecology and economy by adhering to the ecological priority; Finally,through strengthening the publicity and education of tourism resources protection, we can improve the awareness of environmental conservation.
