Flotation columns are often used for fine-grained minerals(gold,copper,tungsten,coal,etc.)roughing,choiceness,scavenging.Flotation column as a non-mechanical stirring of the inflatable flotation equipment,the flotation time is generally faster,and the general need to use high-speed camera for flotation observation,and while do some relevant research of the flotation column,generally need to use high-speed camera to observe the state of bubble movement.Problems for the article difficult to observe the state and properties of the bubble cluster motion present in the flotation column experiments and research,use ANSYS computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT to simulation single bubble motion and experiment bubble motion are compared,and then simulation analysis of multi-bubble flow field changes.Then use the factory industrial column flotation parameters to establish relevant models for various aeration speed,the proportion of ore and other conditions,and the volume fraction of the bubble group and the slurry and the velocity vector of the different particle size bubbles were simulated and analyzed.The single bubble experimental results show: Numerical simulations of the motion of the left and right swings due to uneven forces during the rise of the single bubbles are in line with the actual experiment,at the same time on both sides of the bubble rise trajectory with a reflux vortex,to a certain extent,will make the bubble deformation.Multi-bubble simulation experiments results show: as the bubbles rise to uneven force appeared wavering,its wake bubbles rising trend in succession after this movement in its wake have an important impact on the region;while the two bubbles is rising side by side,the distance is different,both of the rising posture also have a large difference.The bubble populations experimental results show: the different aeration speed,the different feeding ore specific gravity,the different surface tension and the height of the cylinder have important influence on the movement state of the flotation bubble.In the flotation column model with flotation medium as water,when the aeration speed is0.5m / s,the ore specific gravity is 2.2,the surface tension is 55 mN / m and the cylinder height is 1.5m,it has better mineralized bubbles flow field environment.
