In the production process of industrial wastewater, due to the different processes and raw materials, there are many kinds of pollutants, most of which are difficult to degrade pollutants.Such refractory pollutants usually have the characteristics of high concentration, strong toxicity, and easy to cause-cancer.Phenolic wastewater is one of the common refractory organic polluted wastewater.Phenol-containing wastewater widely exists in the production process of petrochemical, plastic, pharmaceutical and other industries, and its hazard range is large and pollution is extensive. The main content of this paper is to synthesize a new type of heterogeneous Fenton catalyst, and improve on the problems of pH application range, reuse performance, and iron ion loss of traditional technology. The experiment uses the impregnation and calcination method to load the composite metal oxide on the activated alumina beads, which together with hydrogen peroxide constitutes the Fenton reaction system, and uses rapid digestion spectrophotometry and liquid chromatography to degrade the COD and phenol during the degradation reaction. The concentration of the catalyst is monitored to optimize the catalyst preparation conditions and reaction conditions. It can be divided into the following contents.(1)Preparation of new iron-nickel heterogeneous composite catalyst by impregnation and calcinations. The experimental degradation results determined that the optimal metal ratio of the catalyst was 1:1,calcination temperature 400?,reduction temperature 500?,and reduction time 100min.(2)Through the degradation rate of phenol and the degradation rate of COD of the solution, the optimal dosage of catalyst is 5g/L,the dosage of hydrogen peroxide is 10mM,and the initial pH of the solution is in the range of 2?9.Degradation effect, the initial concentration of phenol is 250mg/L.(3)With the help of free radical trapping experiments and the characterization of catalysts, the reaction mechanism of the degradation process is analyzed. It shows that the hydroxyl radical is the main active substance in the process of degradation of phenol-containing wastewater by this catalyst. The characterization results indicate that the iron-nickel metal is well dispersed and supported on the support surface.
