As an important component to ensure the production safety of process units,safety instrument system is widely used in petrochemical industry and other fields.As the key component of safety instrument system,the dangerous failure of safety function will directly affect the safety integrity of the whole safety instrument system.At present,the functional safety integrity detection of the final actuator cannot start from the actual operating conditions of the final actuator,and cannot analyze and test the operating parameters which can best reflect the changes of its functional safety integrity,and cannot scientifically reflect the objective value of its functional safety integrity testing.Therefore,it is of great significance and application value to study the functional safety integrity detection of the final actuator of the safety instrument system.Based on the analysis of the typical failure modes of the final actuator,this paper selects the characterization parameters that reflect the functional safety failure of the final actuator,studies the characterization method of the functional safety failure of the final actuator based on the Mahalanobis distance,and characterizes the functional safety failure of the final actuator;according to the analysis of the working principle and dynamic response of the final actuator,a test method based on micro excitation dynamic response and PWM wave dynamic response of the final actuator is constructed to solve the problem that the final actuator cannot be tested arbitrarily due to its working characteristics in service,so that the key failure parameters cannot be measured;the online detection technology of failure characterization parameters is studied,according to the specific application background and experimental requirements,the structure and module framework of the safety integrity testing system of the final actuator function are given;the design and compilation of software modules such as data acquisition,communication interface,data processing and operation function are realized in combination with virtual instrument technology;the failure parameters are detected by the safety integrity testing system of the final actuator function,The safety integrity testing technology of the final actuator of the safety instrument system is verified.The experimental results show that the dynamic characteristics simulation analysis based on the mechanism of the final actuator can reflect the dynamic response process of the final actuator;according to the system software and hardware integration framework,,the functional modules of the functional safety integrity test system of the final actuator based on virtual instrument technology can operate effectively,and the functional safety failure characterization method can accurately characterize the functional safety failure of the final actuator through the failure characterization parameters.
