Various nanostructures of transition metal oxides have attracted wide interest due to their specific morphology and different optical and electrical properties. As one of the most common metal oxides, copper oxide has the characteristics of low band gap energy, excellent charge transfer ability, high catalytic activity,non-toxic properties and environmental stability. It has been widely used in transportation, energy storage/collection And other fields. In this paper, copper oxide was prepared on the surface of multilayer graphene by water bath method, its morphology and structure were analyzed, and its electrochemical performance was further tested to explore the correlation and influence mechanism between its morphology and electrochemical characteristics. The specific research contents are as follows:Copper oxide/multi-layer graphene composite materials were synthesized on the surface of multi-layer graphene by one-step water bath method. The effects of the addition of copper acetate, the addition of dilute nitric acid and anhydrous sodium acetate on the morphology and electrochemical performance of the composites were studied. In terms of supercapacitors, the optimal copper oxide/multilayer graphene composites have a specific capacity of up to 190Fg-1 at a current density of 1 Ag-1,while exhibiting good cycle stability. After 4000 cycles, the capacity retention rate was 93.6%.In terms of glucose sensors, the optimal copper oxide/multilayer graphene composites have high sensitivity and selectivity for glucose. In a wide linear range of glucose concentration from 0.1m M to 5m M,the optimal electrode sensitivity is as high as 1308?Acm-2m M-1.In order to improve the conductivity of the composite, silver nanoparticles were provided with silver nitrate to prepare silver-doped copper oxide/multilayer graphene materials. The optimal silver-doped copper oxide/multilayer graphene material exhibits better glucose detection performance, with a higher sensitivity of 1521?Acm-2m M-1 in a wide linear range of 0.1mM to 6mM.
