The separation of rhodochrosite and calcium-magnesium carbonate minerals is one of the difficulties in manganese ore dressing. In the field of manganese ore flotation, the selection of high-efficiency inhibitors and the elimination of the effects of inevitable ions are the main technical means to achieve mineral flotation separation. In this paper, the target mineral rhodochrosite is selected, magnesite and calcite are used as carbonate gangue minerals. The effect of flotation reagents on the flotation performance of minerals is investigated by single mineral and artificial mixed ore flotation separation experiments, and by solution chemistry Calculation,Zeta potential analysis, thermodynamic calculation analysis, infrared spectroscopy analysis and XPS test analysis, etc.,explored the effects of various flotation agents on the flotation mechanism of rhodochrosite, magnesite and calcite. The flotation separation of carbonate minerals lays a theoretical foundation. The main research contents and results of this article are as follows:Single mineral flotation test: the anionic collectors sodium oleate and sodium dodecyl sulfonate have strong collection capacity for rhodochrosite, magnesite and calcite, but the selective collection capacity of the three minerals is relatively high Poor;Lauryl phosphate has better collection properties for magnesite, and has poor collection capacity for rhodochrosite and calcite.Separation of rhodochrosite and magnesite can be achieved by reverse flotation;collection in sodium oleate In the system, two inorganic inhibitors, sodium hexametaphosphate and sodium tripolyphosphate, have a stronger inhibitory effect on calcium-containing gangue minerals, and a weaker inhibitory ability on rhodochrosite and magnesite. The organic inhibitor dextrin can achieve magnesite In the separation of ore and rhodochrosite,in the dodecyl phosphate collection system, dextrin can be used as a high-efficiency inhibitor for the separation of manganese and magnesium due to its better selection inhibition.Changing the order of addition of flotation reagents will weaken the effect of inhibitors to varying degrees, which is unfavorable for mineral separation;the addition of ions will have an effect on mineral flotation behavior, but sodium tripolyphosphate can eliminate the effect of ions through complexation.Flotation test of artificial mixed ore: lauryl phosphate system, adding complexing agent sodium tripolyphosphate to eliminate the influence of ions, sodiumtripolyphosphate will also inhibit rhodochrosite and magnesite, and can not achieve good minerals The collection cannot reach the purpose of flotation separation;sodium oleate system, rhodochrosite and magnesite 1: 1 mixed ore, adding sodium tripolyphosphate to eliminate the influence of ions, dextrin as a sorting inhibitor can obtain Mn grade 40.14%,manganese concentrate with a recovery rate of 74.2%;1: 1mixed ore of rhodochrosite and calcite, adding the complexing agent sodium tripolyphosphate can eliminate the influence of ions, and as a sorting inhibitor, the grade of Mn concentrate can be obtained 36.45%,the recovery rate reached 81.5%,a good mineral processing index;due to its own limitations, the reagents used in this article could not achieve the separation of the ternary mixed ore of magnesite, magnesite and calcite, but the elimination of the effects of ions is still three The main idea of minerals.Mechanism study: Through Zeta potential, infrared spectrum analysis and XPS test,it is shown that the effects of collector sodium oleate and dodecyl phosphate on minerals are chemical interactions, and the inhibitor sodium tripolyphosphate and dextrin are also common among minerals. It is a chemical action;dextrin will adsorb on the hydroxylated surface film formed on the surface of the mineral. The hydrophilic group of dextrin itself leads to the inhibition of rhodochrosite and calcite.Sodium tripolyphosphate will be adsorbed on the surface of calcite through chelation to reduce minerals. At the same time as the active particles on the surface,it can also increase the electronegativity of the mineral surface and achieve the suppression of calcite.
