Microstructured optical films come in various forms,such as autostereoscopic three dimensional displays,Fresnel structure arrays,microsphere arrays,ect.And are widely used in display screen equipment,communication equipment,new energy manufacturing and other fields,and have huge market demand.The key to the manufacture of optical film is to process high-quality optical microstructures on the roller mold.Using diamond tool turning technology,various optical microstructures can be processed on the roller mold.Through the roller molding technology,various microstructures can be continuously manufactured.Compared with the traditional flat molding and i njection molding technology,optical film has higher productivity and lower cost.It is one of the most cost-effective processing processes for mass production of optical film.Roller mould processing technology is the core link of roller die pressing tech nology.It started late in China.At present,it still needs to rely on imported roller machine tools to meet the requirements of roller mould large size,high precision and high complexity.Based on the function and control requirements of the roller machine tool and Aerotech A3200 multi-axis motion controller,the hardware platform of the roller machine tool CNC system was built.A set of human-computer interraction interface,and the effectiveness of the numerical control system was verified through mach ining experiments.First,based on the needs of the radial Fresnel structure processing of the roller mold,a four-axis linkage roller machine tool with a tool rotation axis was developed,and the hardware platform of the CNC machining system was built and debugged.Secondly,the PID control algorithm of the A3200 controller was analyzed in detail.The mathematical model of the linear axis of the roller machine was established using Simulink simulation software.The gain parameters of the servo loop were tu ned to obtain theoretically optimized PID parameter values.The actual optimized PID parameter value are obtained through experimental debugging,where the position following accuracy of the linear axis reaches submicron level and the running speed is stable.At the same time,a set of CNC system software with simple operation and friendly interface was developed.Including communication control module,axis motion status display and operation module,program operation module,I/O status display and operation module,etc.The designed CNC system software can read the motion status information of each axis of the roller machine tool and the status information of the machining program in real time,and display it on the software interface.Finally,The machining process of the radial Fresnel structure of the roller mold is simulated and analyzed.The cylindrical turning experiment of the roller machine and the processing experiment of the autostereoscopic 3D optical microstructure were carried out.The experiment verified the stability and reliability of the CNC system of the roller machine tool.
