LPG is one of multi-component mixed gases,and its explosion process is more complex than that of single combustible gas explosion.Effective prevention and control of catastrophic accidents caused by LPG is a major problem to be solved in the field of safety production,and the research on the explosion of combustible gas in unconfined space are the basis of this kind of accident prevention.The main contents of this paper include:(1)Experimental study on explosion of combustible gas cloud in small-scale unconfined space.A small-scale unconfined space experiment platform for gas explosion was built,to explore the change rule of the explosion overpressure of combustible gas with the concentration of mixed gas cloud,the flame and overpressure time history curves were recorded by highspeed camera and data acquisition instrument.(2)Temporal and spatial evolution law of explosion disaster effect in LPG tank area.Taking a LPG plant area as the research object,the fire and explosion risks of the main dangerous chemicals in the plant area are analyzed qualitatively,and the disaster consequences are quantified by the Dow`s chemical evaluation method.The effects of different equivalence ratio on the temporal and spatial evolution and characteristics of the target parameters,such as flame temperature,flame propagation speed,peak overpressure,were carried out.(3)Temporal and spatial evolution law of explosion disaster effect in LPG pump area.Firstly,the influence of different mixing ratio of propane and butane on the temporal and spatial evolution of parameters such as flame temperature,flame propagation speed and peak overpressure,were carried out.Further,through the simplification of the research object,the propagation law of explosion overpressure of combustible gas in unconfined space under the influence of multiple parameters was explored,and the characterization model of explosion shock wave overpressure under the influence of multiple parameters is constructed.(4)Temporal and spatial evolution law of explosion disaster effect of LPG loading platform.Based on the historical meteorological data of the city,combined with the impact of urbanization on the environment,we explored the influence of different ambient temperatures on the temporal and spatial evolution rules and characteristics of the target parameters such as flame temperature,flame propagation speed,peak overpressure and so on.(5)Safety and control strategy of LPG plant area.Based on the explosion overpressure and high temperature propagation law in the worst explosion scene of major hazard source in LPG plant area,combined with the corresponding damage judgment criteria,the severity level of damage consequence of combustible gas cloud explosion accident of major hazard source to surrounding personnel,buildings(structures),devices and facilities was divided,and the impact of explosion disaster on personnel,devices and facilities were determined.Further more,the practical engineering prevention and control strategy were put forward.
