Application Of Industrial Ethernet EtherCAT In Laser Cutting Machine

With the globalization of the world economy and the gradual deepening and acceleration of the development of the manufacturing industry,the manufacturing industry as the fundamental industry for its development,in order to be recognized and needed by the international market,the technical requirements for its design and manufacturing process equipment are also increasing high.In the design and processing accuracy,precision and the efficiency and speed of its processing have put forward higher requirements on it.Of course,domestic and foreign CNC machinery-related enterprises,R&D centers and universities have also carried out a variety of technical research,development and applications on how to effectively improve the performance of CNC process equipment and production efficiency.In this paper,through the application of EtherCAT communication protocol in the actual project of laser cutting machine,and a series of experiments were carried out to verify the feasibility of the scheme proposed in this article.The main research contents and results are as follows:1.Analyzed the current development status of the CNC technology industry,fully learned the principle of the EtherCAT communication protocol,and based on this principle,the overall structure of the control system was determined.2.In response to the actual needs of the laser cutting machine,the EtherCAT slave station was independently designed.Detailed analysis and rigorous feasibility and reliability tests were carried out for each part of the slave station hardware,and finally made into products,which were processed in small batches.3.Completed the construction and implementation of the entire EtherCAT system.The real-time system of the main station in the market is investigated,and the model of the main station used in this article is determined.At the same time,it successfully completed various complex configurations of the selected EtherCAT master station system,built an overall framework,and wrote a program to complete the test of the master station.This will make subsequent research and development and function development more free and faster.
