East Ningxia coal mining(hereinafter called "mining area"),geographically dispersed and distributed broad,owned more than 40 factories and derivative units.With the development of mining area construction,the communication network is influenced by factors as the external environment and the construction is increasingly significant.In recent years,a large number of new business and application of safety monitoring system tend to the direction of IP Ethernet.The original IP Ethernet adopts the network topology structure of star and tree combination,which is transmitted in the mode of optical fiber direct drive.Although the network data can be transmitted high efficiently under the condition of normal operation of the communication line network,business is not protected,the number of optical cable interruptions increases with the years due to various construction,the network interruptions occur frequently,and the management and maintenance costs remain high.The transmission mode of optical fiber direct drive has been difficult to adapt to the security and reliability requirements of IP Ethernet transmission with development of communication in mining area,it is imperative to build the self-healing network of enterprises.In view of the insufficiency communication network transmission system,the paper puts forward using MSTP technology to optimize and transform the traditional SDH(synchronous digital system)optical transmission system,according to the actual situation of the mining area,which has been built in the early stage of the mining area for circuit exchange.MSTP technology is expected to sufficient use and protect of the existing network resources,construct of MSTP self-healing network,guarantee the mining traditional business(such as TDM,PSTN voice,etc.)as well as support the rapid growth of the IP Ethernet data business.In this paper,the development and current situation of MSTP and self-healing network technology is discussed,and the key technologies such as MSTP intermediate link,virtual cascade,LCAS link capacity control,GFP general framing protocol,MPLS are analyzed.The classification of MSTP self-healing ring network based on SDH is discussed,and the self-healing network construction scheme is given based on MSTP.Through practice,the problem of insecurity,unreliability and instability of the communication network transmission is solved,and finally realizes the access,processing,transmission and integrated management of various services such as IP Ethernet,video conference,voice in the mining area,which is convenient for maintenance and saves investment.Through the study of this article,experiment and application results show that technology of MSTP based on SDH has excellent environmental protection mechanism,perfect network management performance,lexible business functions and intelligent online performance monitoring function,which greatly improves the reliability of communication network system transmission in mining area,reduces management and maintenance costs,and has obvious application advantages in more complex network environment,to verify the feasibility of the transformation and upgrading of transmission system for communication network.
