Hydrophobicity refers to the state that the solid-liquid contact Angle of a material is greater than 90°,and when the contact Angle is greater than 150°,the rolling contact Angle is less than 5°.With the in-depth study of superhydrophobic theory,hydrophobic coating can be applied in many aspects,such as navigation,construction and other fields,and each coating has different properties,such as self-cleaning,corrosion resistance,water resistance and so on.The two key factors that affect the hydrophobicity of the coating are surface energy and roughness.Based on the analysis of superhydrophobicity theory,this paper prepares the resin coating and tests the mechanical and technological properties of the coating.Due to its excellent dielectric properties,FRP has been widely used in aerospace information and other fields.However,it will suffer from serious aging phenomenon if placed outdoors for a long time.Meanwhile,due to corrosion of external environment such as acid rain,its service life will be reduced and work efficiency and accuracy will be affected.Based on this research background,this paper prepared a super hydrophobic coating applied to the radome surface,and met the characteristics of curing at room temperature,large-scale preparation and simple forming process.The modified polytetrafluoroethylene resin was selected as the base material,hexamethylenediisocyanate as the curing agent,ethyl acetate as the solvent,nano titanium dioxide particles as the filler,and the super hydrophobic coating was prepared by physical blending method.In this paper,the effects of curing agent,solvent and nanoparticle dosage on the contact Angle,drying time and adhesion grade of the coating were investigated,and the dissolution and dispersion of the nanoparticle in the solvent were improved by modifying the nanoparticle with silane coupling agent.Finally,the curing agent dosage accounted for 25wt% of the resin dosage,the ratio of solvent dosage and resin dosage was 2.25:1,and the optimal system ratio was when the ratio of modified nano titanium dioxide particle dosage and resin dosage was 1:1.At this point,the contact Angle of the prepared coating reaches 157° super hydrophobic state.The hardness value is 24;No damage and fall off after impact,good impact resistance;With the increase of the amount of nanoparticles,the protruding structures become more and more compact.The adhesion level is 1,and the adhesion to the plate is good.The surface energy decreased by half compared with that of the coating without adding nanoparticles,and the decrease of surface energy greatly improved the hydrophobicity of the coating.
