The optical amplifier is an optical signal amplifier device based on the stimulated radiation phenomenon of the luminous gain material under external energy pumping as a design principle. It maintains the original optical signal frequency and phase unchanged and amplifies the optical signal intensity during operation.Fiber optic amplifiers,as one of the optical amplifiers, are widely and maturely used in various industries, such as display, lidar, sensors, medical, and communications.Especially in the field of communications, fiber amplifiers doped with rare-earth ions?Er,Yb,Pu,etc.?have a very important role in the field of communications, and have already been used as a very mature optical fiber communication application technology. The working bands of these traditional fiber amplifiers are mainly concentrated in the loss valleys of crystal fibers?1.3?m and 1.5?m?,and with the application of dense optical multiplexing technology, large amounts of data can be transmitted. However, this kind of fiber optic amplifier has no obvious advantage in amplifying light in the visible band. Moreover, plastic optical fibers have developed rapidly in recent years, and currently meet the needs of the three-color low-loss region, which creates opportunities for visible light transmission and the production of corresponding organic optical devices. In this paper, the basic optical properties and optical gain properties of the organic blue material coumarin 460?C460?are studied in depth.Based on the principle of the traditional optical amplifier, its amplification capability and amplification quality in the blue part of the wavelength band?448nm-461nm?were tested, and the optical properties of the material with the pump distance were studied. The main contents of this article are:?1?The basic optical properties of C460,an organic blue light material, were tested and studied, and the influence of the change of solution concentration on them was analyzed.?2?The amplified spontaneous emission of C460,an organic blue light material, was tested and studied, and the effect of changes in solution concentration on them was analyzed.?3?The optical path to test the optical amplification performance was built, the optimal concentration of C460 amplification performance was selected and the optical amplification test was performed, and its amplification performance and amplification quality were analyzed according to the test results.?4?Finally,the relationship between the distance of optical pumping and the wavelength change was tested based on the material properties of the luminescent material C460.The research results show that C460,as a blue light emitting material with excellent performance, has been tested for basic optical performance,ASE gain capability and amplification capability.Based on the test results of basic optical performance and ASE gain capability, the optimal concentration was selected as 1×10-3M.The optical magnification of the solution in the 13nm band range of 448nm-461nm exceeds 7d B.The magnification of 448nm and 455nm-461nm is greater than 10d B.The maximum optical magnification and signal-to-noise ratio are 12.25d B and11.1d B,respectively. The half-height width of the spectrum does not change significantly due to the pump energy during the amplification process. And the relationship between the distance of the optical pump and the wavelength change was studied, and the mechanical displacement process of5mm was calibrated using the change of the spectrum.
