Abstract/Summary:
Because the traditional PDC bit designed by artificial exploration need long times to design,trial production and test process from the demand to the product forming,and the method had the weakness about low efficiency,long operating time,unstable design quality and complicated adjustment process,it is difficult to suit the development needs of PDC bits design about various types and small batches.In recent years,faced to solve the the lack of artificial exploration design methods and the need of high efficiency,high quality and easy modification of PDC bit individualization design,coupled with the emergence and vigorous development of 3D digital design technology,it became demand and made this possible by the digital design of PDC bits.The purpose of this paper is to establish a digital design system for PDC bits,and to simulate the performance of the drill bit,so that the design time of the drill bit is greatly shortened.In this paper,the digital model of PDC bit is established by means of PDC bit geometry.By disassembling the individual design process of the drill bit,a complete design process is divided into different modules,making the digital design of the drill bit possible.Finally,the mechanical analysis of the drill bit is used as the standard for the drill bit calibration and ensured the design quality of the drill bit.Based on the above work,a complete PDC bit digital design system has been programmed,which can smoothly complete the requirements from modeling to calibration,which reduces the workload of the designer to a certain extent and shortens the design time of the PDC bit.The rapid design of the PDC drill bit laid the foundation.
