The current crude oil dehydration process at X treatment plant generally adopts the open process of dehydration technology which causes a large amount of light components to evaporate during dehydration and reduce the profit of crude oil recovery. In order to reduce oil and gas loss and increase production efficency, this paper based on the existing closed reform experience of Xinjiang Oilfield and according to the actual situation, the technology reform of crude oil closed treatment for X treatment plant is studied.Through the measurement of VOC and evaporation loss on storage tanks in plant and after calculation and comparison, the necessity of reform the treatment plant was confirmed. The total hydrocarbon chromatographic analysis of the crude oil was carried out,and it was found that the light components of the oil were too high and needed to be stabilized. The demulsifier was screened.According to the experimental results, two sets of closed treatment schemes were proposed and the process was simulated by HYSYS software. After comprehensively comparing energy consumption and operating costs, the negative pressure flash was determined as a crude oil stabilization program. After the reformation, the treatment plant becomes a fully closed process, and there is no evaporation loss. The negative pressure flash stabilization process has the characteristics of simple operation and low investment, and the net income can reach 45.22 million yuan per year.In this research, the technical and economic integration is achieved which not only meets the requirements of environmental protection, but also saves energy and reduces consumption, and provides a scientific basis for the selection of the process plan for the closed reform of crude oil treatment plant.
