A Study On Regula Pattern Of Evaporation Loss In The Fixed-roof Tank

Evaporation in the tank not only leads to the reduction of oil amount and quality, thepollution of atmospheric environment, but also causes the problems in the tank farm safeproduction. This impact can not be ignored especially in the tank with ifxed roof.According to the further research in computational model of the fixed roof tank, analyzingthe evaporational mechanism in the oil tank, summing up the temperature distributional rulesof the gas space, calculating the initial and final temperature in the "small breathe" by studythe established mathematical model of temperature, we could get the amount of air loss in theprocess of the tank evaporation. Based on research of tank evaporation loss in and abroad,analysising the mechanism of the tank evaporation, combining with the oil-gas diffusion lawin tank gas space, the oil-gas distirbution would be known. Then by utilizing the relationshipbetween the exhaled air volume and average concentration of oil-gas, we could derive actualamount of oil loss.By checking, test, and reviewing of the program and the actual data, the good stability ofthe veirfication procedure, the higher the accuracy of the computational method could beapperceived. This article provides a complete and convenient way to calculate the wastage oilby evaporation in the fixed roof tank.
